https://www.race-dezert.com/home/wp-...ly_Cross01.jpg I've been doing allot of research lately and this seems to be the best setup to accomplish my goal. |

Bad choice Hoosier. Too aggressive. The 8.75 +30 would be better
And lower your damn car. What kind of sissy boy are you? |
He lives in Houston, Mexico. I mean Houston, TX.

2 Attachment(s)
Here is a pic of the rear wheel and front wheel gap.
Rear Attachment 201514 Front Attachment 201515 I may have enough room to drop it but then I have no suspension travel. |
The trick to driving a lowered car is 75% driver and 25% planning. I've seen people scrape in a damn stock SUV around here.
Hoosier - you don't need much suspension travel when the car isn't taken off any sweet jumps like shady wants to do. (Your bumpstops would hit before you hit the ground) |
I might put my springs on after all then.
|
Shadycrew31, that shit looks tight man. Are you on coilovers?
|
lmao, i drove my lowered 8 around Louisiana for 5 years which I believe is ranked first in worst roads in the country...i managed, just gotta know your route and slow down if you are weary

Is there a specific thread consolidated with the different mods required for major lowering and agressive offsets? i.e. fender rolling, liner cutting, mounting tab shaving, etc.
I had no problem with my setup before, but now i am lowering quite a bit more and i can see clearances being an issue. Currently running 18x10.5 +43 and 265/35/18 all around with S-techs switching to coilovers. |
3 different choices:
18x9.5 Face 2 +35 (54mm, distance between calipers and spokes) 18x9.5 Face 2 +43 (46mm) 18x9.5 Face 3 +22 (52mm) (Face 3 is more concave, would look better) http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/2009/pro...&code=VOLK_G25 Tire size...? 245/40/18 255/40/18 275/35/18 My suspension is a little jacked up right now, the rear springs are barely enough to handle the vehicle's weight + me, but I'll get that fixed before I put these on. The whole car is lowered about an inch and a half on Tenabe coilovers |
You can make all 3 wheel options fit. That depends on the look you want and the kind of function you are looking for
|
I am new to the whole scene and was wondering if getting XXR 530's 18x8.75 +33 for my RX8, if that will be flush or not? I am NOT on stock height but I am not sure how much I am lowered bc the car was purchased like that. Also what size tires would you suggest?

Unless the car being lowered is really blown shocks/shitty springs then he could rub more than 200s mom
|
Then it will.
