Will these fit? I need some cheap wheels to get my by for a while. The cheap shitty wheels that came with my car are A) ugly as all hell. B) Heavy C) one is cracked leaking air.

I found the hub bore is the same. Only thing I am really concerned about is offset.

17" Black Ford Fusion Rims 5x114 3 5x4 5 Wheels | eBay

Not sure if this is correct but the offset I found is +40 or +44. It is also either a 17x7 or a 17x7.5

I really hate herrafrush and all that shit so I am just looking for a cheap wheel that I can drive the car with while I save pennies for a set of RPF1s with a 17x8 and +35-40 offset. Main thing that concerns me is corner weight. I could give a rip roaring shit what the wheels look like unless they are ghetto bling bling heavy chrome wheels.

I know this has probably been asked before in this thread and in many others. Im trying to figure out it 19 inch g35 rays will fit without any modifications. those are the stock specs for the rims. F: 19x8+30 R: 19x8.5+33
im fairly sure they will fit but i was reading in another thread that they were 1mm to small. if they do fit what tires would you guys recommend? thanks in advance.

Evo or mustang wheels are cheap.

Might as well get a set of rota, xxr, or some other cheap wheel at that price point. Evo 8 enkeis are about 800$ a set, if I could find a set of mustang wheels with tires local that would be awesome.

EVO 8 wheels fit just like our OEM wheels for the RX-8, same offset and hub-bore size.

J8635621 09-24-2014 07:53 AM

I worry about your google-fu if you can only find $800 evo 8 wheels and can't find mustang wheels at all.

Tanro 09-27-2014 11:49 PM

Well I have a buyer for my MX5 so I will be getting a nice set of wheels instead of trying to poach cheap oem wheels from another car.

I am looking for 17x8 wheels and 245/45/17 tires. What would be ideal offset?

devonair1 09-28-2014 07:27 AM

Alright so I'm a total newbie with this in general so I need to know if a set of 18x8 30 offset rims would be okay on my 2005 touring edition 8, Automatic. All of my suspension and everything is stock. Will I have to camber it or anything?

Tanro 09-30-2014 12:43 PM

17x8 should I get +32 or +45 offset. Looking to be as close to flush as possible with out lowering

soicdr 09-30-2014 01:32 PM

F/R 18" x 9.5" +45
Plus Racing Beat springs and Koni Shocks
With 245/40/18 tires

Grace_Excel 10-01-2014 05:54 PM

An offset of +30 will fit the wheels closer to the fenders, on an 8" wide wheels the tires will clear so you may not needs to fender-roll. +45 offset will almost look like the stock RX-8 wheels.

17 x 8 is like the automatic OEM wheels, I know nycdriftking rocked 17" 5Zigens for a long time before he switched to the 18" he has now.

The 18 x 9.5 +45 with 245/40 dropped will tuck and clear the fenders

portuniecho 10-04-2014 10:31 AM

Will this fit? Im lowered on Megans and trying to get a XXR 530. Will this fitment work?

18x8.75 +35 rear
245/40/18
18x8.75 +35 front
225/45/18

OR offsets +20 will work too?. just trying to weigh the possibilities. And also, do I need a set of spacers?. Fenders roll? The reason why I ask is because Im on stocks right now and needed a spacers just to fit it right.

Thanks.

Why wouldn't you have the 245s in the front as well?

I could do that too. I was actually trying to get a 9.75 for the rear but since they only have 8.75, I guess Imma stick to 245's all around now. I see it works for some 8's. But anyway, you think my offset would be fine?

Mr_Pieper 10-04-2014 06:55 PM

You should run the 9.75 all around and really low with a 255/40. It rubs all over and I'm miserable but it looks really cool.

17" Wheels for snow tires?

Will Drag DR-19 17"x7.5" 42 offset, 4x100/4x114.3 wheels fit Series II? I want to mount snow tires on them. Thanks for any help. I tried to search.

if you did a 4 lug conversion, yes.

hedoboy 10-13-2014 05:36 PM

Not sure I understand 4 lug conversion. Would the lugs not match up? the wheel has more than 5 lug holes? sorry for being slow on this.

hedoboy 10-13-2014 05:39 PM

sorry, my mistake the whees are 5x114.3...so will they fit with no problem?

the "4" in your original post signifies that it is for 4 lug wheels. the reason it has more than 4 holes is because it has to different lug patterns, each being 4 lug by "xxx"

hedoboy 10-13-2014 06:43 PM

Thanks!! I think these are the ones I buy(in gold) for my Black Mica RX.

they'll fit if they're 5x114, I wouldnt suggest buying a wheel under 8" in width because thats smaller than stock sizing.

XSTARSCREAMX 10-15-2014 11:54 PM

What tire size options would I be looking at for this setup.

Wheels are Work CR Ultimates
F: 19x9.5 (+25mm)
R: 19x10.5 (+22mm)

Willing to roll fenders/pull fenders, coilovers etc. just trying to see what tire options I would be looking at with minimal rubbing or without having crazy camber in the rear. This would be my daily setup with a different set a wheels and tires for track use.

Just want some feedback. Thanks.

It gets tricky with 19s. You'll have to roll your fenders all around for sure and will need camber in the rear depending on how low you are because it will poke with that width and offset.
Remember, less meat is less rubbing. You could do like 225/35 and 245/35. Any more than that and you'll have to add a decent amount camber. Just not sure on the look you're going for.
