It gets tricky with 19s. You'll have to roll your fenders all around for sure and will need camber in the rear depending on how low you are because it will poke with that width and offset.
Remember, less meat is less rubbing. You could do like 225/35 and 245/35. Any more than that and you'll have to add a decent amount camber. Just not sure on the look you're going for.

Yeah I feel you. I think in order to get the stance setup I want without going overboard I think ima have to do 18s insted of 19s. I've been looking at 18 inch wheels filling up the gap on the front fenders nicely. That's was mostly my reason for going with 19s insted of 18s.

will 18"x9.5" +40 fit for both front and rear.
I plan to lower will it be possible to lower and wht tyre size should i be going

Rotary96 10-27-2014 11:25 PM

Es1

Im looking to get Varrstoen Es1's

Front and Rear
18x9.5
the thing is I'm not sure what offset would be good
They come in 12,22,30 offset i would appreciate it if someone would let me know what offset would be good and the pros and cons of each offset

I also don't mind rolling the fenders b/c i will probably have to
Also i do not want to put spacers
Suspension: Coilovers

Tires
225/40/18

It's going to be a tight fit, depends what size of tires you will use also.

Yes they will, you can go with either 245/40 or 255/40 tires.

With those tires and rolled fenders, you can do the +22 or +30.

Don't say 255/40 when he wants to lower it.

245/40 and the +22

Hey guys looking for a bit of help here, a bit new to the wheel game.
I'm thinking of getting the Forgestar F14s super deep concave. The smallest size for those particular wheels are 19x9.5 offsets from -25 to +23. I'm lowered with koni yellows and h&r springs so I can adjust the ride height if need be because I realize it'll be a really tight fit but I'd rather go with a thinner tire than camber it like crazy
Just trying to figure out what offset and tire size would work best for this set up if in fact I went 19x9.5 all around or if it's even possible, thanks!

A 35 profile on the tires if it's going to be 255. Same goes for the 19 x 9.5, a 35 tire profile on a 245 but with the high offset of +23 on the wheels. Try to get a square set-up as much as possible.

Do you think those tires are good size? I want stretched low profile but not too low profile. The other dude said go with 245/40 idk which do you think are better I'm not tracking the car or anything

if you're not tracking the car or anything just do the smaller size, you'll save money too.

J8635621 10-30-2014 05:08 PM

Absolutely disagree. Way more stretch than is needed and those tires aren't much cheaper if they are even cheaper at all.

Danmn858 10-31-2014 12:18 PM

But he said he wanted stretched, even the smaller size is barely even a moderate stretch.

J8635621 10-31-2014 12:25 PM

Then he needs lower offset wheels like a +12. He better be slammed to pull it off though.

I would like advice on what rim will fit and be best for my car.
I want to keep both the front and rear wheels to be the same dimensions.

Im going with an 18"x9.5 rim, the offsets that i can go with are (+22,+35,+40)
which offset would look best?

I also plan to lower but not immediately so i have to ride with the rims at stock height, will the
rims fit at stock height and which offset would be best for when i do lower.

What would be the best tyres to use use to give a nice lowered profile?

dannobre 11-03-2014 10:55 AM

Depending on tires you chose...the +40's will fit with no work +35 will need a roll...and the +22 will need fenders pulled and rolled

U have a few options for this setup .. if you go with the lowest offset (+22). Depending on the tire size, the most you will need is a fender roll. You wont have to pull anything.. You will be gravy with the 2 higher offsets.. My experience, I ran 18x9.5 +22 and similar offsets.. I had the stock tire size (225/45) with just a fender roll. It was a tiny stretch, nothing major. Both stock height and lowered.. ere are a few pictures with that wheel and tire size. The black rota grids are at stock height. If u would like to see more pictures check out my instagram "@illestcarmedia"

J8635621 11-03-2014 11:44 AM

9.5 +22 at stock height? kill it with fire

It will need some trimming done (doubtful on needing a pull) with a 245/40. +35 needing a roll is on the borderline. +40 is no work at all.

Stock height = +40. Lowering springs = +35. Slammed on coilovers or something = +22 I wouldn't go thinner than a 245/40.

justin-lee 11-04-2014 02:56 AM

OK alright thanks, lets say i go with a +40 offset will that still look good when i lower my car, and what is tyres can i use for that

This is what my car looks like with 18x9.5 +38 in the rear with a 275/35 tire and Tein H.Tech springs.

vavalto 11-11-2014 09:02 PM

Will this fit?

Will it fit?

Miro 111 Rims
Size: 18x8.5+35 5-114.3
Same on all four wheels.

Tire Size (option 1): 235/40/18
Tire Size (option 2): 245/40/18

Car is not lowered.
I want straight drop ins with no modifications that will have no rub and be as close to stock size/look as possible.
Not trying to be all about performance, just making the car drive and handle as usual with some nicer looking rims.

J8635621 11-11-2014 09:14 PM

Option 2

jorx7 11-19-2014 07:35 PM

Enkie rpf01

17/9.5/+35 front
18/10.5+35 rear will this fit my 8? These are the rims on my 7 right now. Don't belive 8 is lowered

J8635621 11-19-2014 07:45 PM

Possible with tiny bit of work but would look like crap without being lowered.

jorx7 11-19-2014 08:31 PM

kill the +35 found the real size in my notes.

17x9.5 +18 front
18x10.5 +15 rear this is what is on my rx7 right now! will work for my 8?
