While possible that would require skinny tires and being super low. The answer is basically a no

Yea im running +27 in the front and +16 in the rear ... im currenly have 255/35' and they have a little too much side wall. Im going to probally look at going with a 235/35 and see if that will allow me to get the fitment i want..

Miro 111 Rims

Same on all four wheels.

Tire Size (option 1): 235/40/18
Tire Size (option 2): 245/40/18

Car is not lowered.
I want straight drop ins with no modifications that will have no rub and be as close to stock size/look as possible.
Not trying to be all about performance, just making the car drive and handle as usual with some nicer looking rims.

they'd look better lowered.....

Here's what they looked like, I have the Miro 111

I'm looking at a set of SSR's in a 18 x 9.5 Square setup with a +35 or +45 wrapped in a bridgestone RE-11A in a 245-40-18. I'm looking for the wheels to have a flush with the fenders look. Which offset would be better? Currently on a Bilstein HD shock with Tein s tech spring set up will be switching to coilovers closer to spring.

I would choose the +35 offset. Off topic, where are you in the Left Coast?

Just purchased Stance Coilovers, looking to lower my 8. Im hoping to have the wheels flush with fenders with a decent drop. Need some advice and opinions. How much work will these require?

really liking mb battles but feel free to suggest better tire, wheel offset etc. that will help me do this.

(option 1) 17X9.5 + 15 with 235/45

(option 2) 18x9.5 +15 245/40/18 tires

here are some other sizes for the wheels i chose,

17x9 30
17x9.5 15
18x9 30
18x9 38
18x9.5 15
18x9.5 15
18x9.5 23

thanks

Go with 18 x 9.5 +23 with 245/40-18. You'll do less work with that offset.

I think you'll be safe with the 285 with the +40 offset.

well they do fit, stick out a bit, it is at stock height still. ill see how it rids for a bit see if ill keep them on.

jorx7 12-07-2014 04:04 PM

17x9.5 +18 front
18x10.5 +15 rear

not sure if i can lower it if i do only like 1 inch, would have to be stiff struts so no rubbing,

Option 1: 18x9 +30 235/40/18

option 2: 18x9 +38 235/40/18

what kind of drop will make this work?

thanks.

Grace_Excel 12-09-2014 02:02 PM

You can drop those with springs, neither of the set ups would rub as long as you keep the same size of tires. 245/40-18 tires will make your tire sidewalls flat, you'll still be ok but would have to roll the renders if you use the wheels with the +30 offset.

Keyen 12-12-2014 02:26 AM

Just looking for options to change it up next year.

Options would be :

18x9.5 +22
18x10.5 +22

Wondering what tires would be recommended. Will be dropped on coils. Wont be used for track/autoX, just some twisties every now and again. I was thinking a roll for the 9.5 and probably pull & roll for 10.5. I'm assuming there wouldn't be a huge difference between the feel.

Thank ya kindly

I have stock suspension and I'm looking at rial norano wheels on tirerack the specs are 18x8.5+35. Will they fit without rolling my fenders or anything?

Sure. 245/40/18 tires. Would look better lowered a bit but shouldn't be bad at stock height.

It will have all the rubs with a 255/40 without a ton of work.

RotaryRoxy 12-20-2014 02:21 PM

19x8.5 +40 255/35r19 (front)

19x10 +42 285/35/19 (rear)

F14 Forgestars silver on Sunlight Silver all around

Will they fit without serious camber/rolling fenders/rubbing?

Will be investing in Blistien pss9s at the same time as tire/wheel purchase :fingersx:

18x9.5 +45 with 255s dropped about an inch and stock camber should work - correct

With that offset, you may not have to play with the camber on a 255 tires.
