The rears should fit no problem, the fronts should as well with that sized tires...but the rears will be inset more than the front.....basically by about 1/2 inch.

Likely a big roll and a 1/2 inch spacer on the rear should fit and make the front and back the same

Back when i had zero knowledge of fitment i let a shop take care of it and they ordered my wheels with those specs and i regretted it ever since. I had 8mm spacers in the rear and they were flushed nicely but i removed them because the lug nuts were barely grabbing onto the thread, will i have this issue with a 1/2 inch spacer?

J8635621 03-23-2017 09:59 PM

Yea. That shop didn't know wtf it was doing if you're right. Lower offset in the front? You sure you don't have it backwards?

dannobre 03-23-2017 11:44 PM

Since 1/2 " is amlost 13mm you will have more issues than 8 😎

Like J said. ..try them on the other way. ..they likely will look ok even without spacers

Ahhh i see, thanks guys much appreciated

Hey guys, so I'm aware that people have been able to run an 18x9.5 wheel with a 265/35 tire all around, such as J8635621. I have been searching and just saw that he said some work needed to be done. Just curious if this means fender roll, fender pull or some other magic to get them to fit. Any info helps :icon_tup:

I am lowered about an inch btw.

J8635621 03-29-2017 07:49 PM

Offset? What kind of tires?

Static RX8 04-23-2017 07:05 PM

Work Emotion CR Kiwami (deep Concave Face) 18x9.5 +30 or +38? 265/35/18 all around. Will roll all fenders and have BC racing coilovers.

What are some possible issues?

Thanks

Parcham79 04-23-2017 09:59 PM

Honestly offset would be whatever works best, not going for style points so I guess like +38-50? Tires would be Potenza RE-11's.

So I don't know anything about fitment so here I am...
Looking at two different setups
18x8.5 +45 offset front and rear
or 18x9.5 +38 offset front and rear
Car is lowered on pss9 coils and fenders are already rolled somewhat. Any help would be much appreciated.

You shouldn't have any problems with either of these. The 9.5 +38 will fill the arches better.

I'm testing to see if I understood correctly, so here is my idea;

255/40R18 pilot super sports on 18x9 wheels. Stock suspension; mildly open to the idea of adjustable coilovers for drop during summer and up for winter. Goal offset would be to be as 'flush' as reasonably possible without the fender rolling at let's say an assumed maximum of a 2" drop.

My guess would lead me to believe somewhere between +36-45mm offset.

Thanks ahead of time for any corrections and guidance :)

Sounds about right 😎

Looking for the right offset for a set of 18X10s that allows as much tire as possible.
I ride pretty low as it stands right now on coilovers and rolled fenders.
Here is how she sits now, these are 19x8.5 & 19x9.5. (I do not kow the offset, i suck)

I want to pretty low without a lot of camber.

Teetsdownlow 05-19-2017 10:37 AM

Still looking through the posts currently but figure i'd post up and see if anyone comments.

18x9 28 offset

245/40/18

Going to be a daily driver and dropped to a 1-2 finger gap all around. Looking for a very good front fitment after about 1.5* of camber. Would like no rubbing lock to lock. Can roll the rears if needed. Prefer to keep the liners. Thank you

J8635621 05-19-2017 02:05 PM

Fine. Roll fenders

Looking at 19x9 +20 all around and wondering what tire size is best... Looking either nitto envo or Michelin super sports

countchalkula 05-29-2017 09:14 AM

Went with 18x9.5 +30, getting lowered this week, shop feels 245/40 may be too much says 235/40 will work better, thoughts on rubber?

J8635621 05-29-2017 11:01 AM

Do not go that narrow. 245/40 will fit with just a roll. I have 265/35 in similar specs but that requires some hammering and trimming.
