Thanks Bro!

TopGear8 11-26-2008 04:57 PM

^Yeah 245/40's would be good. They will be pretty flush, shouldnt looked stretched at all.

volcomx31 11-26-2008 04:59 PM

Kadavr 11-28-2008 11:59 AM

With a Swift drop, how wide of a tire can I fit on a 18x9.5 +20 wheel with a fender roll?

imput1234 11-28-2008 01:56 PM

265, but I would not recommend it.

Kadavr 11-28-2008 06:00 PM

why not? hellaflush ftw!!!

imput1234 11-28-2008 08:29 PM

:spank:

I've been pretty set on getting swifts, and it escaped my mind that the drop is only .8", I guess back to revising suspension settings for me... :icon_no2:

+38 actually. Not completely flush, but I don't have to worry about adding camber or rolling fenders either... and much better than stock.

Yea I've read a lot of stuff on different suspension setups, originally I was gonna go with the d spec's paired up with swifts, but now I am thinking I might just go with a set of coiloivers, it'll be more practical, I'll be able to change the ride height for the winter without taking apart the suspension everytime. Plus I think for where I live, coilovers with a German style valving system will be more appropriate.

imput1234 11-29-2008 05:59 PM

coil-overs are the way to go.

Riken 12-01-2008 08:05 AM

My Work are
Fronts: 18x8.5 +30
Rears: 18x9.5 +20
Lug pattern 5x110

What should I use for tires?

A friend is giving me a pair of Nexen N3000 245/45/18 for $50 bux new. Can I use these? If so where front or rear and what should I get for the other 2?

imput1234 12-01-2008 09:17 AM

Yeah you can use 245 all around, no problem.
