Ok so im getting these and should be here this week
the
Axis Supermesh 19'
Offset: 45
5x 114.3
19x8.5 in the front 19x9.5 in the rear

Now front tires are new, the size is Nexen 235/35/19, but the rear tires need replacing so what size of tire should I run in the back?

You should be able to run up to 275 in the rear, maybe 265, 255? it's up to you.

Do I need to roll fenders? Also stay with 35?

No, you shouldn't have to.

275/30
265/30

the rest /35

Atilla 12-22-2008 12:57 PM

265/30 would look nice IMO

any pics of both 265/30 vs 275/30?

Atilla 12-22-2008 02:44 PM

^unfortunately no, i have seen this set up before and thought it was pretty clean. I don't think it was rolled - though it looked pretty flush. It would really depend on your drop as well.

imput1234 12-22-2008 06:16 PM

^ +45 won't give you the flush look.

Fate710 12-23-2008 12:51 PM

Alright, figured I'd make this my first post. I've read alot, and probably come first of the year, I'll be ordering new rims for the 8. I've found the wheels I want, but I'm not sure if the offsets are where they need to be, and I need a recommendation on tire size.

F: 19x8.5 +35
R: 19x9.5 +35

The car is stock height for now, but will probably get put on Tein S-Techs, something that drops a little bit, but nothing extreme.

You can run up to 255 in the front, up to 275 in the rear. Are you gonna roll your fenders?

Jedi54 12-23-2008 02:36 PM

here's what I'm thinking of doing. (dropped on konis + s-techs)

19x8.5 +38
19x9 +35

Probably do 245's up front and 275's in the rear.

Atilla 12-23-2008 02:41 PM

^i like - that might work w/out fender roll

Jedi54 12-23-2008 02:44 PM

I've got quite a bit of negative camber going so not sure on the roll / shave.
I might get a slight fender roll just to play it safe. not sure yet, pricing out wheels now.

Atilla 12-23-2008 02:45 PM

^you bastage! i can't wait to see em'

Jedi54 12-23-2008 02:49 PM

gonna take a while to order them and get them from Japan.

Atilla 12-23-2008 02:51 PM

^what color are they gonna be?? :squint:

Jedi54 12-23-2008 02:59 PM

PM me what you think I'm getting. If you're right, i'll tell you the color.

You'll need to roll the rear, front should be fine.

Atilla 12-24-2008 12:10 PM

question:

wheels:19x 8.5F 19x10R +38
tires: 245/30 275/30

The front's should be fine but you will need a little roll in the rear. Depending on how low you are.

Atilla 12-24-2008 12:21 PM

sitting on swift springs so .8 drop - it's a relatively soft spring but i plan on getting stiffer suspension soon.

i really don't want to deal with fender roll...

Jedi54 12-24-2008 12:32 PM

Yoshiya has a fender rolling machine; he'll hook ya up
