That will for sure rub dude.
245 in the rear and you MIGHT be ok... But if you want them to look flush you might as well accept having to roll the fenders. |
HI guys, i am thinking to go 18x8.5 +38 enkei N03+M with 245/40 R18 all over. Will it fit very well?
|
define very well. It'll fit but won't be fender flush
|
kane, is possible that i could use another offset? If so what would work
|
How about 18X8 5/114.3 +45 all around? what size tire if they do fit? stock height

245/40/18 shouldn't be a problem at all, maybe as large as 265/35/18 as well.

I have same wheels...and 275 series tires...no rubbing at all...And I have had it really low.....

HEHE - With those offset and a 245 tire; they would fit. As for the actual offset - I would guess nothing lower than 38 - but BigO is the master - let's see if he chimes in. PS - Is this a sticky yet? |

i am sorry, i am new to wheels and tires,so dont know exactly how wont be fender flush. did you mean it wouldnt look very cool? sorry, i still need to learn a lot about it.
See how the rear tires stick out - that is "flush" or wider with the rear fender - but requires rolling in order to fit properly. So a higher offset number moves that rim under the car more. Mine is 28MM. |
Kane, I KNOW you have said many times previously what you did in order to get your rear tires to fit without rubbing but i'm too lazy to search... Did you roll AND pull your fenders, or just roll them?
|
They are rolled - according to JN - the folks who had to do it. To me they look like they might have been pulled too - I will know more when I get home and can see up close.

Rpm2
Hey all the experts, would enkei RPM2 18x8 +35 with 245 tires fit all around?

O.K, guys...will this setup fit my car (lowered on Tein H-Tech):
19x8.5 +38mm (F+R) 255/35/19 or 255/40/19 Thanks. |
How about 19x8 +30mm with 245/35/19 and tein s-tech. Will it fit and not look like it is sticking out like a low-rider.
|
it'll fit
|
ok. i've read through most of this thread and don't think i have seen this set-up.
F: 18 X 9.5 Off: 42 265/35/18 R: 18 X 9.5 Off: 42 265/35/18 Lowered with eibach prokit, 1.2 F, 1.2 R Will i have massive camber after alignment? I have a feeling it would be nearly flush in the rear, just not sure about the front. Thanks |
Those should work well.....
|
i have the stock 18's but want to go a little wider with the tires, what do you guys suggest so i dont mess up the speedometer on my car,.......

19 x 8.5 245/35/19 Fronts +34 19 x 9.5 275/30/19 Rears +36 Rolling the fenders shouldnt be such a huge ordeal. A good shop can do it cheap and make it look nearly OEM. -hS |
18 x 9, +45, 235/40/18 or 245/40/18
18 x 9, +38 235/40/18 or 245/40/18 - any rubbing with these with stock height or droped with tein s techs? |
Hey guys.. I have a question for you. Tonight I did a test fit of my wheels/tires and found that they stick out about 3/4 of an inch but want to know if I will have rubbing issues before I go to the track.
Enkei RPF1 17x9 +35 on all 4 with BF R1's 255/40/17. I have the D-Spec shocks on my car and plan to run 1 click out from full stiff. I have 3 finger clearence up front and 2 finger out back, but it extends away from the car about 3/4 of an inch so the tire is not tucked up behind the fender and thus my concern. Thankx for your comments! |
You probably will have to align them.
