you going 9" all around?
35 or 40 would be my pick.
I definetly want to go 19, figured 10 would be too wide. What are your recommendations? Just want wheels to line up flush fenders.
for 9 wide all around - i say +35
i'm just not sure about 19's by 9 at +35 offset. . . you may need a roll |

prospectjtaz-
You can fit 9.5 back there with a +35 offset, I did. For tires I went with 275/30 - 19 the rim is as flush as I want the back looks aggressive. I did have to cut away the inner lip on the fender. let me know if you want some pics. |
will 19x8.5 +38 and 19x10 +43 work? its not going to be a sunken battle ship is it?!
It'll work, and will be sunken.
18x8.0 5/100x114.3
Stock height, stock everything. Riding on stock 18's right now. |
^What's the offset.
I'm not completely sure. I'll be finding out tonight and i'll post it up.
18x9.5 offset 35 front
18x9.5 offset 35 rear how would it look? will it stick out?.. so many questions nowhere to go to get the answer... thanks |
oh and on tanabe coilovers hahah sorry for got to mention

You'll be fine, if you run 275, rear will rub.
18x9.5 front/rear with a 30mm offset..will it fit without rub in the back?
^there's a good chance depending on tire...

hmmmm - stretched huh? My guess is you'll be ok - definately post back with results as i believe the offset is a little agressive however with the stretched tire it might be feasible. If anything, a slight roll.

hi all,
first post! just bought my Rx8 today in the middle of winter! would a 17X7 with 38 offset fit? gonna wrap them in 215/55/17 winter tires |
It'll clear no problem, but the size is so damnn small.
I hope i am posting on the right place.
Could anyone take a look on these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/19-New-RS4-Aud...QQcmdZViewItem that comes with kumho ku31 235/35/19 i know is not the best choice for tyres but what the heck. To install a set of four pirellis or yokohama or bridgestone i will need about 1000euro here in Cyprus. For 800euro i could get these 19" wheels with tyres :P and let me know if they will fit my 8? Everything is stock on my 8. I don't get the things with offset and all technical. The only thing I want more from the OEM 18" is to refresh my looks (big wheels). I love the handling and feeling i have now. What it would be with these wheels? Thanks! |
They will fit fine, but I'm not sure they will bolt up to the RX8. I'm not sure on that bolt pattern. Those seem to be replicas and the 100/112 under bolt pattern means it could be 5x100 or 5x112 (I think), neither of which fit our car. You need 5x114.3. They do make adapters for that but I think they are pretty expensive.
