They will fit fine, but I'm not sure they will bolt up to the RX8. I'm not sure on that bolt pattern. Those seem to be replicas and the 100/112 under bolt pattern means it could be 5x100 or 5x112 (I think), neither of which fit our car. You need 5x114.3. They do make adapters for that but I think they are pretty expensive.

Thanks j8635621

I will ask the seller

dude u can go wider. i am running 19X10.5 in the rear with a 255/35/19 TIR and 19X9 in the front with a 225/40/19. u will have to drop good coin on a good coilover set to get this wheel fitment. also, my wheel fitment is super flush hehe

Could anyone take a look on these
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/19-New-RS4-Aud...QQcmdZViewItem
that comes with kumho ku31 235/35/19 i know is not the best choice for tyres but what the heck. To install a set of four pirellis or yokohama or bridgestone i will need about 1000euro here in Cyprus. For 800euro i could get these 19" wheels with tyres :P
and let me know if they will fit my 8? Everything is stock on my 8.
I don't get the things with offset and all technical.
The only thing I want more from the OEM 18" is to refresh my looks (big wheels). I love the handling and feeling i have now. What it would be with these wheels?

Thanks!

i may have missed it - but is that the right bolt pattern??

We're 5x114.3

WTBRotary! 02-03-2009 10:29 PM

im on the topic of tires, i want the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec's but the problem with those is they dont make them in the tirerack recommended tire for the stock 05' base automatic 8, the base 05' auto rides on 16's and they recommended a tire size of 225/55-16, which btw is the same size tire on my car right now... Granted id like to get those Z1 star specs BUT the closest size they make is a 225/50-16, do you think it would be ok to go with that? if not ill just get the Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport's in 225/55-16

imput1234 02-03-2009 11:15 PM

255/50 will be fine, how wide are the OEM 16's again?

WTBRotary! 02-03-2009 11:33 PM

lol um i have no idea... if i knew id tell ya btw, the only size is 225/50-16 not 255/50, i assume you meant 225/50?

J8635621 02-03-2009 11:52 PM

It would be ok. Your speedometer will be a little fast, but you will accelerate a tiny bit better.

Yeah sorry 225/50, typo on my part.

Atilla 02-04-2009 10:02 AM

WTBRotary: stock width is 7"

Dasoviet: Yes. I'm not familiar with adapters though.

risky business 02-04-2009 06:38 PM

first the wheels im running. 18x9.5 all around with +35 offset
also i am lowered on tein s techs

245/40/18 - no rubbing, im using these now
275/35/18- will these rub in the rear without rolling my fenders? just the rear.

imput1234 02-04-2009 06:46 PM

Yeah, they should rub. You can try to add more camber, that'll help.

risky business 02-04-2009 06:47 PM

hmm. i already run -2 degress camber all around lol. would 265/35's rub?

imput1234 02-05-2009 09:18 AM

I don't think so. but just roll your fenders, its not hard, you can rent a roller for $40 online.

Hey i need a little help here, i started to read through this thread and decided it would take me a year to find the proper set up, and i couldnt find anything even close. I want to get some 18" adr rims. I just need to know how big of tires i can run without f-n with my fenders. Hopefully someone can help!

18x8.5 +32 front
18x9.5 +35 rear

18x8.5 +32 front
18x9.5 +35 rear

Are you gonna roll?

ADR sucks, get something else.

You'll fit fine, you'll be able to clear a 255 in the front, a 275 in the rear (will need roll)

AngryBumblebee 02-06-2009 02:35 AM

245/40/18 all around. +25 offset or +32, and 18x 8.5 wheel?

Atilla 02-06-2009 10:12 AM

^iono why that question looks like it was asked backwards :dunno:

My opinion: both should work

AngryBumblebee 02-06-2009 10:22 AM

245/40/18 is tire size. 18x8.5 is wheels size. +25 or +32 is offset of wheel. I wanna do +25 but not sure if that will cause rubbing issues

Atilla 02-06-2009 10:31 AM

i have 18x8.5 +35 offset with 245/40 and i have no problems - but then again you are running a more aggressive offset. From what i've seen on my own wheels is that i could run a more aggressive in the front (say +30) and still be fine. Not sure how far +25 will push it though. I doubt you'll run into any issues...if anything, maybe a roll.

No, with some camber, you should be fine.

gregs 02-08-2009 12:29 AM

19x9.5 front and rear w/ 35 offset tires will be 265/3019 any rubbing issues without rolling fenders....btw using coilovers

TopGear8 02-08-2009 11:22 AM

^Yes you will need to roll your fenders.

gregs 02-08-2009 03:29 PM

^^^ what about 19x9.5 front and rear w/ 40 offset tires will be 265/3019 any rubbing issues without rolling fenders....
