Those are different sizes and possibly offsets too. You can tell because the front lip is smaller than the rear lip.

That is still called Staggered and many people are doing it.

Ya, you are right, I ripped this pic off a 350z site. I was trying to find a pic where someone wasn't staggered, but just had different offsets in the front and rear, but as you mentioned this guy has both. Haha, closest I could get . Is anyone just doing the difference in offsets though, or is everyone just staggered with different rim widths but same f/r offsets? I'm thinking of NOT doing staggered, but having one offset in the front and another in the back. Is anyone doing this? Or am I crazy?

^Yes, people do get different offsets for front and rear with the same size wheel.

You will be unable to rotate your tires without demounting them

Staggered is good if there is a reason....and bad if there is none.......

Haha, ya honestly it would totally be for looks only. Sadly, the 19"s I thinking of getting are heavier than stock, so I'm not looking for performance gains. You make a very good point about it being VERY difficult to rotate the tires with that setup, although with staggered it would be impossible.

One more question, are most people here running 8.5 width or 9-9.5?

Why do people keep trying with 20's Offsets and wonder why they don't fit

They will rub on the back by about 3/4 of an inch....so if you want to destroy your wheel wells go for it

Otherwise read back through a few pages of the thread and find a bit better choices

How would 19X8.5 +45mm front and 19X9.5 +55mm in the rear look? Would the rear still look concave with a +55mm offset? Thanks.

I have 18x8.5 +38 offset Work Emotions, and I am lowered on Tein S-techs.

I am wanting new tires...

245/40/18 or 265/35/18?

I do not run the car at the track, but I enjoy some spirited driving and would enjoy an aggressive looks.

What are the advantages / disadvantages of each selection? Will I rub with the 265s?

Thanks guys... the more opinions the better. I have spoken to members who have fit the 265s so I am looking for more qualitative opinions on what is a better selection.

Why are you skipping 255/40? None of the 3 should rub at all. What size tires are on there now?

Currently they have 225/40/18.

I know, I know... they came with the car.

Ok, add 255/40 into the mix... I didn't mention it b/c of the lack of $150-170 tires on tirerack for that size.

Opinions on the three choices?

There is nothing wrong with 225/40. They are the same diameter as 265/35, so you will have a little lower gearing, your car will be closer to the ground, and you will have more wheelgap (all in regard to stock/same as what you have now). The 245/40 will be between 265/35 and stock in all those respects. The 255/40 will be same as stock.

Good question. I'd be willing to go with a pretty thin sidewall, nothing that looks really dumb, like all you see is rim or anything. I'd appreciate any suggestions you might have, but trying to push the offset as much as is reasonable. Thanks.
