Thankx. Hopefully Team or some of the other members will comment further.

It's going to be really close in the rear, it may come down to the camber setting.

As shown with pics in the 10.5" wheel thread, the top of the wheel gains camber and tilts in as the suspension is compressed.

So it can be outside some and still clear, but there's a limit and you're right there in the red zone

- any rubbing with these with stock height or droped with tein s techs?

all 4 setups would be fine

davefzr 01-22-2008 02:32 AM

Well.. It was killing me so of course I had to do a complete test fit at 10:00 at night and take it for a spin. There are these bumps and dips on the street near me and I didnt hear any rubbing going over those and that was on the softest setting.

I am sure I wont have any issues when it's one out.

Thankx for the comments.

BigOLundh 01-22-2008 02:43 AM

make sure to find an open parking lot and turn the wheel all the way to the left. make a circle slowly. do the same to the right. if your not rubbing you should be ok.

If you are using stiff springs (coilovers)... having people in the car wont make much of a difference.

Cool thankx man.. I appreciate the comments!!

I'm looking at the same width and offset on all for corners. What offset would be better to go with up front with 9's?

BigOLundh 01-23-2008 05:35 PM

i ran a 17X9 +40 with 255/40 tire on all 4 - car was dropped an inch... had no rubbing issues and plenty of room.

That being said... i think even your most aggressive of the 4 options (18X9 +38 245/40/18) will be ok on all 4 corners

Phade2 01-23-2008 07:22 PM

good stuff. thanks!

How about tire recommendation for 19x8.5 245/35/R19. cant really decide on a good performance tire.

BigOLundh 01-25-2008 03:08 PM

dunlop direzzas - was cheap, lasted long time, less grip than other performance tires but i never raced on 19s so i didnt care. It was enough grip to handle upwards of 275 to 300 whp for daily driving without any issues tho.

Ross_Dawg 01-26-2008 01:47 AM

Hey guys will this setup work with tein s-techs?

Front Size: 235/35/19
Rear Size: 265/30/19

dannobre 01-26-2008 01:59 AM

Those are tire sizes...need the wheel info.........

offset is 35 on front/ 40 on rear

dannobre 01-26-2008 02:58 AM

Width matters ;)

They should be OK if they are 8-9" wide

Front could be a problem over 9"

SIKROTOR7 01-27-2008 08:03 PM

ok heres one 18x8.5 +26 front 18x9.5 +26 rear havent disided on tires as for now any sugestions on tire size

Bastage 01-29-2008 09:38 AM

Here's another one:

18X9.5 +45 with Toyo T1-Rs 275/35-18 front and rear

or

18X9.5 +45 with Toyo T1-Rs 265/35-18 front and rear

car has MS Shocks and Springs

I believe they wil both fit, but 275 is on the borderline, some people run them being able o fit, some need fenders rolled/shaved, others need a crazy cambers, and others still rub, but I am pretty sure the 265 will clear without any problems.

+26 is too low... unless u dont mind them sticking slightly out from your fender well. its up to you. if you plan on dropping the car with that setup... will need a fender roll... garanz

Will depend on the offsets....between +40 to +48 should be no problem....

boanjangnararmine 01-29-2008 05:41 PM

how about:

17"x10" +35 5zigen fn01r-c with falken rt-615 255/40/r17 all around

assuming that it fits on stock height, how much can i drop the car without rubbing?

i will probably have to roll fenders but even so will it fit?

h1 1m 1ogan 01-29-2008 07:29 PM

If i want the rear wheels to be flush with the fenders should i go with a +35 offset? I want to run 265 tires so my setup will be 18x9 +35 and 265's all around... Im pretty sure ill have to roll my fenders, but how much does this cost?

SIKROTOR7 01-29-2008 09:39 PM

ended up getting torks 18 x 9 +40 but not clearing the front brake callipers so am using 5mm spacers

thats very odd. normally that would clear fine... wider rim and lower offset than stock. the spokes on the rim must have a very "special" design.
