Not lowered yet, but do plan about 1.5 inch drop.

Thanks!

You're going to need a roll and maybe some camber work.

VASasha 04-13-2009 08:49 PM

how about with +38 on the same size wheel?

Atilla 04-13-2009 09:08 PM

^will depend on tire profile then.

It will be close

Bravery 04-13-2009 10:21 PM

anyone got a
19x8.5 front
19x9.5 rear
offset 35

what tire sizes are you running?

J8635621 04-13-2009 10:34 PM

I would assume 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear or maybe one size smaller in the rear if you don't want to roll the fenders (it'll still be pretty close though I think). Just a guess. You might want to check back the past 50 posts or so. It has been asked multiple times afaik.

imput1234 04-13-2009 10:43 PM

run 255 all around

Bravery 04-14-2009 08:31 AM

thank you for the help, im having issues on what i want to get and this post is helping; sorry for the redundent questions.

would i require a fender roll?

imput1234 04-14-2009 11:45 AM

shouldn't

Im_DANomite 04-14-2009 03:57 PM

18x9.5 +30 will work...run 255/35R18 or skinnier. roll might be needed if you're dropping it 1.5" with some neg. camber. but that also depends on what kind of tire manufacturer you run. falkens run thinner than most companies so you might be able to pass with that. otherwise, fender roll will be needed

Fate710 04-14-2009 04:24 PM

18x10 +35, anyone think they'll fit with some negative camber and a roll/pull

Also, 18x9.5 +38

imput1234 04-14-2009 04:26 PM

Yeah it'll fit no problem

Fate710 04-14-2009 05:23 PM

which the 18x9.5 or 18x10

imput1234 04-15-2009 12:14 AM

both

curious what the deal is with staggered rims

tried a short trip with stock 18 with 225/45 on front and 18x10 +30 with 245/35 rear and the ABS started acting up then the sidewall broke on one of the tires, literally seperated from the rest of the tire, which is(was) brand new....

J8635621 04-16-2009 07:17 PM

245/35 is a bit shorter than the 225/45. I don't think the car likes seeing big differences in the speeds of the front and rear tires.

Oddly enough I ran different sized tires for a couple months last year(235/40 and 225/40 IIRC) on 18" rims that weren't staggered and never had any issues....

today was literally 20 kms before the driver side tire demolished, I might steer clear of Falkens altogether after todays experience....

Transam kid 01 04-17-2009 11:06 AM

I was told 245 on 9.5 rim would be a stretch; can anyone provide or point me in the direction of a rim with 245s on them? Thanks

dozer 04-17-2009 11:07 AM

^8.5, would fit nicely,....thanks atilla ;)

What would be good for a 9.5? I have black enkei RPF1s sitting in my room (9.5), and I don't want to get that horrible stretch look, but I don't want to get excessively wide.

dozer 04-17-2009 11:15 AM

atilla! chime in you *sshole...

IMO - 275's look nice on 9.5's - especially rpf1's.

FWIW, They fit nice on ms springs and struts. what are you lowered on??

imput1234 04-17-2009 12:18 PM

245 will be perfect on a 9.5, I dont get why so many people run 275, unless you only autox, its too much tire.

I'm lowered on racing beat spring with tokico d specs and do you think the 275s will be excessively wide?

Atilla 04-17-2009 12:35 PM

Yeah, you'll be fine.

racing beat and dspecs are a modest drop so you should clear fine w/275's. If you wanna play it safe 265's will work too.

Yeah I can't have it too low with the ms kit. What would be a good sidewall ratio for 265 that will preserve the speedo accuracy? 35?
