Please help guys!

What will be the most aggresive & yet safe wheel and tire setup without fender roll?

Criteria to be met:
I will like the new wheel to match the OEM calibrated speedometer speed.
I'm planning of getting a set for autox and a set for daily driving/show. But if I can get 1 set for both purposes, that would be even better.
I don't mind making a little camber adjustment.
I would like the setup to be as flush as possible to the fender.
I will have passenger in back seat most of the time,

Suspension & brake mod:
Car will be dropped about 1" with Tein Mono Flex coilover and possible big break kit(Project Mu, Endless, Brembo) in near future.

Here is what I have come up so far:
F:19x8.5 +42 or +40 (255/35)
R:19x9.5 +42 or +40 (255/35)

I also have full Mazdaspeed bodykit. I'm sorry guys, I know I'm asking alot here and I know I suppose to use the search and read through this thread but I'm confuse with so many possible combination setup.

Any help and advice will be much appreciated.

Thinking about buying some cheaper aftermarket wheels since my car is a DD. Looking into these. (Not sure) Will they fit?

ADR-90
INTERCREW

Width: 7.5J
Diameter: 18 inches
Number of Bolts: 5
Bolt Pattern: 5X100 5X114.3 (Is this because front and back are diff sizes?)
Offset: 48

Thanks alot!

^Yes they will fit fine, but I would not recommend getting wheels that are less than 8" wide...

Why is that?

What size tires would I buy for them?

^Because stock is 18x8", And anything under 8" wide just looks bad, won't have alot of grip, and even if it's a good looking wheel design, will be too sunken in and not be aggressive at all. You would probably put a 225 on a 7.5" wheel. But please try to get at least 8" wide. You will regret going with a 7.5".

Im looking for a nice, wide, stretch look. Any suggestions for rim widths, and tire size?
Either 18" or 19" and Im on stock height. And no modding the fenders.

Also anyone have pics with an RX8 with BBS LM's??

Thanks guys!

If you want your wheels to be as flush as the fender without rolling is not quite possible. But looks like +40 with 255 will be fine without any fender rolling and this set up will not get your wheels completely flush with the fenders. Also 255/35/19 shouldn't disrupt the speedo.

It will fit, but it will look terrible, The only people who I have seen do it are people who AutoX and throw some Ho Ho's on there. So for a stock size wheel I wouldnt recommend putting anything over a 245 on there.

Im putting on four 19x8 Momo V10s. I want a little bit bigger tire. Whats my best bet? Im looking for probably Falken, or if anyone has any recommendations it would be much appreciated. I want a great looking aggressive style tire, with a quite ride.

I have been told the Falken 275/30/19s wont fit. also the 245/30/19 wont fit either.. dont know if this is true?? Anyone know?

245/30/19's will fit. Iono about quiet tires - I have loud *** KDW's - I have had Falken 452's and didn't hear too much, but then again people say i have deaf spells

Question: if you're going with aftermarket rims - why not go wider? 8" is what the stock wheels are...

245/30 is pretty low profile and will throw the speedo off. 245/35 is a better size. My nitto invo are quiet but I don't know if they come in that size.

I appreciate all the help, as I am unfamiliar with tire sizes and fitments. What the difference between the 245/30 and the 245/35. how do you they compare?

^ Just to add... 245/30 has a thinner sidewall than 245/35. 30 or 35 is the sidewall thickness and its actually calculated as the percentage of the width of the tire.
