hows it going everyone, i just bought my RX-8 in july, and i live in the minneapolis area where winter is pretty bad. i was told that i would most likely need some winter tires if i wanted to drive this winter, and since my 8 is the only vehicle i have its going to be a must.

i was wondering who uses winter tires, what kind and how much they are? any help is appreciated.

 

I don't have time to write a long post now, so I'll offer a quick tip - please do a search in this forum section (and in the Canada regional section) for search terms "winter tire" and/or "winter wheels". Feel free to include my forum name in the search criteria to narrow it down if you like. There are quite a few extensive and thorough discussions from last fall on this subject, and your best bet, sincerely, is to read some of those prior threads, then ask any questions you might have.

I'm planning to write a sticky thread about winter tires soon, but it's not ready yet!
