Wrong rotors?????

I bought some rotors from rotor pros and they sent me these. (attached) Now you see there is a good difference in thickness between the old and new. My caliper bracket will not fit over this new rotor. Rich from rotor pros told me the difference is from being worn down. I don't think so. Look at the length of the pins in the rotors. Anyone can help???

Yeah what he^ said. From the Brake FAQ on this forum(https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-55/brake-faq-167264/) : "The base AT model has 11.9 in. (303 mm) diameter front discs while the AT with sport suspension and all MT have larger 12.7 in. (323 mm) diameter front discs. Both models have the same 11.9 in. (302 mm) diameter ventilated rear discs and floating calipers."

Which do you have and which did you order?

Measure the diameters of what you have and what you ordered and see if they are the same or different.

The below thread contains photos of brake rotors with measurements, it might be helpful.

by looking at the pic, the gap between the two contact plates of the new rotor is bigger than the one at the right (old one). They are different . If you fixed it by now please post it, I am looking for new rotors as well, so I will keep reading...

You can't lose with Racing Brake slotted/curved vane rotors.

Ok I fixed them. I have an auto by the way. What had happened was at first Rich sent me the manual rotors. The smaller ones i had gotten i thought went on the front since the bigger rotors did not fit on the front or rear. I installed the smaller one and sent the bigger ones back. The new rotors that were resent in the pic belong on the front and the smaller (that i put on the front, lucky I didn't die!) on the back.

I bought a set from Rotor Pros and sent them back.

I have bought my last 3 sets (2 for my 04 and 1 for my 07) from R1 and have had great success!

my friend had a similar experience for an fx35. They sent the correct front rotors, but sent the wrong rears... (the diameter where the rotor hub would be fitted over the rotor was wayyy too small)

I've heard pretty good things from them, but would honestly take my money else where after that incident (long story, but we had to get some cheap autozone rotors to ride on until he shipped replacements)
