Not that you asked, but I found them to be pretty stiff especially with aftermarket springs.
That said, in the summer I'm taking off my aftermarket springs.
Also don't turn the rears up more than 50%. Really you could go as low as 25%. Also they are rebound adjustable only.

NP I can respect that. I bought mine new because I couldn't find any used when I was ready to buy. I bought mine from Tire Rack. They are very competitive on price and their customer service is second to none. You may be able to find a set for a few dollars less but if you have any sort of problem with them, you may regret trying to save a few bucks.

No problems with them, other than with the design of the car. I was contemplating having them converted to double adjustables but the rears still couldn't be fully adjusted without removing them from the car. That is not very practical when you want to make an adjustment at an event. So I found a set of used Koni 2812's that can be adjusted on both compression and rebound from the bottom on the rears.
BTW, the 2812's cost about $1000 per shock new. Converting Koni Yellows to DA costs about $400 per shock. I found the used 2812's for $2000 total and then paid about $500 to have them dynoed and revalved at Koni. So for a few hundred bucks more (after I sell the yellows), I got much better shocks that can be more easily adjusted and have a much better range of adjustability.
I ran BS so the springs were stock.

The ones I was offered for a price just uner $700.00 have a part number of 8241 1226Sport 8240 1227Sport Those are for the front and rear. Can you tell me if these are good for a start?

You may be better off looking into some of the STX threads here. Those guys can change spring rates so they would know more about what you are looking for.

I have the tanabe sustec five, runs about 1000-1400 depending where you go. I have used them on an autocross and they were amazing. i keep them on +8 setting for stiffness (there is 12 settings) and they are a little rough but driveable on streets. Now with the AP sway kit they are even better. Best mod i have put on car besides turbo.

I love Tanabe stuff and was looking at them. I'm going with coils and ditch the spring / shock combo ider lol after driving my friends 8 with Tein bassic and no sway bars I was like wow! if you have my AP bars and links this has track all over it. So yea thanks for helping me make up my mind guys.

Dominion,
i'm heading over to Tein this week. Let me know what's the best price you got and i'm sure I can match or beat it.
I got a better deal for you on the Konis also if you go back to that route.

Yes if it's made I can get it. I'd have to email to get pricing. Personally I think getting a double adjustable suspension might be a bit much for the regular person.

hmm... tirerack has those same part #'s, but the price is well below $700 for the F&R
$372 for both Clicky
This is probably a stupid question but are these Koni "Yellows"?

Those are them but the pricing is each. You will need 2 fronts and 2 rears unless you plan on running on an oval.
