Yokohama Avid Envigor's

depends on your driving habits and conditions.
I have had good experiences with Kumho tires (I ran the MX, I suggest the SPT instead)
currently on my 2nd set of Toyo T1R's; love these tires!
then again, I live in southern California where we hardly ever get rain, I don't have to deal with snow, or very cold driving conditions.

How many miles per year do you drive? And do you want a tire that is similar in performance to what came with the car from the factory?
Look for summer tires with treadwear of 280-300 if you want factory tire type performance.
Look for summer tires with treadwear of < 200 if you want high performance handling.
Something like the Avid Envigor will squeal in the corners and turn your RX-8 into a mushy boat.

My car is a daily driver so I have to deal with rain, cold snow ice! This winter in Louisville has been terrible and that's why I was considering the all seasons. I drive about 20k yearly. My current tires are pirelli p zero nero. I'm trying to save some money this year as those were kinda pricey
