Hope that helps!

Those numbers are assuming that the tires are mounted on what wheels?

Keep drilling! The only solution for me to buy tires is if some charitable soul would puncture all four of my Potenzas...

j/k

Or you could take care of the dilema yourself by drifting or doing burnouts :D.

I measured my Potenza tread depths and at 6500 miles I have only 1/32" of wear, so I decided to stop drooling over new tires for now.

Yeah, I'm going to keep my stock (8") rims. I had them chromed, and they look nice. I think 245's will be more than enough for this car. I would just like them to be stickier. I also want them to be about the same width front and back to keep the great balance that this car has. I don't want to have any understeer problems when the width gets too big in the back tires.

I just put 245/40s on my stock rims after 32,872 miles on the RE040s. What a difference! I don't think the REs were ever this quiet. Maybe it was the wear (I still had about 1/8" of useable tread) but the REs were deafening.

Only had a few opportunities to check out the grip. Seems I'm taking a certain 90 degree left near me at a brisker pace.

I'm glad I went with the Yokos and the wider tire.
