Lightbulb Your thoughts on these wheels

I think these would look great on my Winning Blue 8.

I;d like to get your thoughts of these wheels and to see if you have any comments/suggestions on these wheels.

Thanks

I like em' but they are probably heavy. Also with cheaper rims there is a strength issue.

Get these volks instead, they look similar. (and Volks rule!)

Its funny how someone always has to say: they are probably heavy... Not everyone cares how much they weight, they just want good looking wheels..

OP: If you like them, get them.. Each person has their own vision for the car they drive. I personally hate black wheels on cars, but I also dont mind chrome 22" wheels on a Chrysler 300C... Which, I know.. ZOMG! So heavy..

Thanks Jedi.

In my opinions the lines of the volks flow better with the 8's softer lines. That wheel is a little more hard line / straight. The price of those brand new with tires will be about the same price as my wheels and tires. wouldtnt you rather have Volks at the price?

black only looks good if its a real chrome lip or the entire wheel is black... and even then only on certain cars like deedubs... and a good chrome lip on a BB or WWP. This polished junk is ugly. I dont think kenny is concerned with strength or weight but moreso looks which for WB i would absolutely recommned some nice 5,6,8 spoke chrome deep dish!!

i think you could pull off black rims on a Winning blue if you smoked the lenses and had a dark window tint.

would look pretty sweet!

you guys crack me up, "black only looks good with...." and all that nonsense. Here's my number one rule of customizing, if you like it, do it, don't let the world determine how you mod your car because if you do you will NEVER be happy with it. Those would look great, but if I were you I'd do some more research, maybe find a similar style but higher quality wheel like the Volk's mentioned, Enkei and Work along with BBS also make a similar looking wheel that would look awesome, if you're broke then just save up what you need and do it right, it's not worth it to cheap out just for the instant gratification, save up and buy what you really want.

(and I love my black wheels for what its worth lol)

+1. not a fan of gloss black with a polished lip. maybe if they are all black. either gold or gray looks really good on WB.

photoshop Lesper's wheels on YOUR car. If you like them, that's ALL that matters.

Thanks for all your opinionns and contructive criticism, its always better to get an extra pair of eyes take a look before you make a purchase. Plus I am probably the most indecisiove person I know! Thanks again. Think I am going to hold off for a bit, and yes Jesper Volks would def be better. But +30 offset isn't ideal for the 8, right?

Hey Kenny
my new rims will have a +33 up front...just an FYI

for me, i took a look and did a lot of research before i made a decision..something that costly shouldnt be taken into lightly...
take your time...

woo, +1 for canary. not because the yellow on black, but that its not really helpful to ask others what they think because you'll never be happy with what you initially wanted; or at least the look you initially wanted.

i've been in a spot where i've asked opinions, but i never really take them because i always change my mind.

keep this in mind: Volks get you laid!

I think the +30 would be fine as long as you're not lowered tooo much. You could potentially rub.

Any other wheels you're considering?
