09 Agency Power Exhaust

Would the Agency Power Exhaust work on our Series 2 and is that exhaust worth the money?

Yea it does, I only heard that you would have to mod the hangers or something else so it holds properly

I googled it and I found a series 2 with it on. Looks pretty good and clean to me, it just depends what your looking to get out of the exhaust. I heard ap exhaust is not for the feint hearted, but if you do like the loud "look at me" sound then go for it. I've shopping around for an exhaust myself but I'm just waiting for the rite time.

Youtube it, theres plenty of videos on there. If you choose to go with the ap exhaust after all your research then visit this thread

You can get a great deal through these guys, trust me I asked for them to pm me a price and its the best deal I've seen

hope this helps, best of luck bro!

Hey that's my picture from cardomain.
I'm still waiting on some adjustable poly hangers made for body kits to locate the exhaust better, but they are coming from over seas.

Cheese did you just bend the hangers to make it fit? From what I have seen/heard on here you either have to have the tips lowered a bit or extend/bend the hangers for the exhaust to have a good fit.

It's a little loud without the cat, but I think it's too quiet with it. I had it too close the first time and the exhaust shrouds looked like chocolate syrup dripping from the tail pipes when I got home, but they are cheap and easy to replace. I'll take some more pictures when I get the new hangers, hopefully soon.

I tried a few things but I'll tell you that just cutting the exhaust shrouds is not enough and I'm pretty sure that bending the hangers will not be enough either. I have some hangers ordered and I'll let everyone know if they work and how well.

When I get this exhaust I had planned to just have the tips chopped off and rewelded at a lower angle. Even if they chopped them off and put a small section of pipe that allowed them to be 1 or 2 inches down that should help it clear the fender guards.

I don't see how well just lowering the hangars would work. To me that would make the whole exhaust hang lower, not just the tips. Either way I'm curious to see how this will work.

Mind getting a lower angle? I want to see exactly how low the connector gets when it links to the midpipe. Looks freaking sexy though ... i hope shrouds dont melt because I WANT lol

Been thinking of getting the AP Full Exhaust System.. When you say loud, is it a good loud or an annoying loud? I already got pricing from Works Concepts and its pretty good.

hold on this just hit me....did you install the full exhaust or just the catback? Im asking because the full exhaust would give you a CEL and Im wondering if you have anything in mind that you might do to take care of that unless it involves putting a post-it note on the gauge and try to pull off an out of sight out of mind thing loll

I think all of us S2 owners are dying for a CEL "fix" (ignoring is fine, but for inspection sake)

I like the look of it it fills the shroud out better and looks like it was meant to be there.

It needs to be cleaned and polished

I think it's a good loud but everybody has different tastes.
I have the full system and yes my cel light is on, I turn it off every once in a while because I have a obd2 scanner at work, but the only way to keep it off is if cobb would make the programer for the s2. All of my trac control lights are on, so what's one more light. If you hate the light that much take it out

Cheese if you have a good camcorder with a decent mic take a video. I am tired of seeing all these cell phone videos of that exhaut every single video is a different sound.

If you dont have a good cam/mic combo can you at least try your best to describe it? I know its a pretty loud exhaust but I just don't want a "ricer" sound to the exhaust I buy.

^ +1

I have had my AP for quite a long time and I've been afraid to install it because I don't want it to be too loud. I've heard it at a local meeting and it was ok but then I was also thinking about cabin noise.

I'm not that concerned over the noise, other than what that noise sounds like. I know it will be pretty loud already I just don't want it to sound like a bumblebee going down the road.
