Exhaust will only gain 3.5 hp, mid pip will give you like 6hp, so the total is only giving you 10hp max and right now THMotorsports is doing an agency power exhaust deal, it go for $765 free shipping. That include midpipe and exhaust, quite a deal, maybe boroww some money from friends and family......here is the link

With exhaust parts you can't just sum the gains
It doesn't work like that!

Just giving some general idea on power gain, I know you should dyno before and after to see real result.

oh! Buyer beware, cat delete pipe will give you flames, and Exhaust fumes that will make your eyes water, coughing and high.

Since no one else answered this question, I will take it on. Lowering springs do more than just make a car look better. They decrease your ride height. This reduces the amount of air that can get under your car at higher speeds. This causes lift and drag. Some people mistakenly say it increases downforce because lift is reduced. Lowering also reduces your center of gravity, which can improve handling. I also changes the geometry of the suspension, so you can get more negative camber adjustment out of the front.
Of course, you can scrub when going into driveways and on speed bumps.

Great thread, TY.

1talysf1nest, I just got a 2009 R3 and am also interested in performance mods (more handling and torque than HP). If you don't mind, let me know if you make any changes and what you think.

Good luck, it doesn't sound like there are a lot of options for us. If anyone knows of anything else that is worth doing and available please keep the thoughts coming.

It's full of choices really, budget is the only concern for most users though
serious hp\torque increase can only be achieved with a turbo or a supercharger if you're not willing to invest a lot of money in your NA build ( pp "renesis") and make the car not street worthy

Alright, so my bday just passed and my family is getting me stuff for my car :D

so im most def gonna get the bhr ignition kit. Ive heard nothing but great results about it from friends and members on this forum.

i am also getting an intake but im not sure which i should get. Im stuck between the k&n typhoon intake and revi intake. Yes, i know that the intake will not give me much power gain but Im satisfied with the type of improvement. I also might get an exhaust system if i find a good deal. Im thinking either racing beat or borla.

If anyone has some insight, opinions, and experience with any of these products please let me know your thoughts on them or any other suggestions on other intakes and exhausts.

Much appreciated guys!

One of the intakes will let you ingest hot air and lose power
I'd get a midpipe with a sports catalyzer. Should get no CEL and see some performance gains!

By looking at the 2 intakes you could easily figure out on your own which one draws hot air
Cough.. kn cough!
Catalyzers have very different prices. You could get a nice sounding midpipe for less than 500$ and add a davesport catalyzer that costs less than 200$. Branded catalyzed midpipes can cost upwards the 1000$ mark, as much as what a catalyzer alone from HJS will cost
