Invidia or RB catback
Hi guys,
Two options:
Two options:
- Invidia Q300 - Available locally in Canada and ~$400 cheaper
- Racing Beat - One of the best but expensive where I am

The Invidia doesn't bolt right up to a series 2 and the Racing Beat exhaust isn't currently available for the series 2 with no ETA, just saying.
I'd 100% do the Racing Beat if it was available though. I ended up doing a cheap xforce exhaust and besides needing a little longer hangers than the stock hangers, it fit great.

It’s expensive here in the states as well. Go with the racing beat. Shoot them an email or call them. Last time I ordered one that was back ordered, it was only a few weeks. The materials are the same for the S1 vs the S2. The mount points are different is all. So it’s better for them to make it a special order part vs ready to go off the shelf. The S2 Rx8 was not sold in big numbers. 25k worldwide in 3 year’s compared to 125k worldwide for 4 years.

I just called.. they are looking at end of February and at worst beginning of March. Same thing happened with them last year, I had to wait a little bit for the parts to show up. But to be honest, I'm glad I did.. I love the way their exhaust sounds.. and the quality is top notch.

Thanks guys. I called them up as well and was told end of Feb / early March.
I am in no rush but would you say it's worth the exta $300-400 over Invidia? I have heard great things about RB, just trying to justify the premium .. haha

Invidia cat back
I have the invidia cat back. I like the sound and has been on my car for a fairly long time. My only problem is the muffler is on an angle and is very low. Hits speed humps and struggles up driveways.
