Me and my friend are driving Rx8 R3 and have seen that KnightSports have some good stuff to the car.
We are interested in : Sport Manifold Independent
Super Charger kit " Hyper Booster "
Hyper Sports Rom 4 Beat - Se.
Are there someone of you running this combination and what are your experience.
Looking at KnightSports result it looks good.
Fantastic --- Very Good --- Good --- Bad --- Forget it.

ok, I had experience with a lot of Knight Sports products. allow me to put my comments
Their stuff are not bad, I should say their stuff has quality.
but like most JDM parts, their premium is simply not worth it. Let's talk about the 3 items you mentioned. I seen and tried ALL of them.
1. Sports Manifold Independent, it's just a "header" in America's term, the ONLY special thing about this header is that it separates all 4 runners, seen at the pic below, does this create an advantage over other "3 in 1" design? on paper it does, but in real life (dyno), doesnt change ****. YEARS ago Racing Beat (I believe they were the first with a working header) did tried such design(4 in 1), but they can't find improvements on Dyno, RB did say someone MIGHT be able to find more gains, but to them it's not worth the extra cost. so they released the 3 in 1 design instead. I would say this is Good, but NOT WORTH the price tag, Get Charles Header instead.
2. Super Charger (they call it Hyper Booster) - ok, the design of this kit is just stupid, fitment is horrible(trust me I seen how much **** u gotta do to install this), gains are minimum(compare to Greddy kit, even Greddy's kit its some 1/2 assed ****) , their choice of Intercooler is just retarded. I would rate this as BAD. Get Greddy Turbo kit with all the fixes/updates/upgrades including Tune will get you a LOT more.
3. It's just like Racing Beat' tune, it's a base line , it's slightly more aggressive Than stock, but really its better to have someone actually TUNE your car for you than buying something like this. BAD.
their "light" version just removes the default limits (like 180km, found ONLY in Japan's cars) and changes the Fan on Temp to whatever you want.
the "Basic" version has the above, plus Fuel/timing changes, and metering oil pump settings to whatever you want(like people who knows how to adjust this would need your tune?)
