New Ignition Set-up

Hey 8Club!

Time for some maintenance. Out with the old BHR kit and in with the new globally compliant BHR coils. His video describes them well. They look awesome and I finally get the use my RE-A wires. Yay.

Enjoy!

Can you take a pic of the terminal for the spark plug ends Federighi ..... are they just pressed steel or do they have some kind of tensioning device ?

Boot Wire Pic.s

Lighting was poor but I did my best to capture what I believe you're looking for. Looks very much like a reverse forecep / umbrella.

Looks like there is a spring clip pushing a ball into the plug electrode so they should hold tight nicely .Do they snap on ok or are they a pain to get on like cheap leads ?

Yessir! Very crisp and neat connection. Fun finally getting to use a set after being a fan for so many years.

those look like capacitor plug wires with those grounding straps?

thought those things went the way of Y-shaped sparkplug electrodes ... so perhaps they serve another purpose.

what’s the weight on one of those coils?

.
