Series 2 deepest sounding Exhaust

looking for an exhaust for my r3, have searched and don't trust sound videos as they vary so greatly.

but i want the deepest sounding exhaust i can, i don't mind too much how loud it is, and im not worried about drone on the highway much. not too worried on perf gains but i do not want losses (obviously), and not too to worried on price, (not spending over $1500 though)

also i want a good quality one that will last and stay clean looking,

thanks in advance, and if ur just gonna post stupid useless info please go somewhere else, i have searched and couldn't find anything

As far as lasting just make sure the exhaust is made out a good stainless steel and not alluminized steel if you are in an area with lots of rain or snow. Making it look nice will be up to you, my exhaust tips get filthy in under a week lol. There really are not that many if any deep sounding exhausts. The rotary just does not produce that sound. While some may have a decent growl at idle or small revs they will be screaming when you really get on the gas and never in a deep way.

You are either going to have to go to a local meet and listen to peoples exhausts or go back to youtube and take a gamble. The loudest and best sound I know of is the HKS hi-power, at least people really seem to enjoy it.

I have RB catback with the BHR midpipe...and it has a nice growl at the lower end...but as previously mentioned..no rotary screams "low". HKS is not low..its just loud as hell imo.

i went with a custom 3inch catback with the ap midpipe and my car sound like it has 100+hp than stock :p sounds really deep and everyone likes it...everyone just says: that thing sounds deep as hell ...so that can be an option and a really cheap one (i got my catback done for like US$ 200 at a muffler shop)

Its stainless...was the same as the shop used for a Trueno they have for drag if im not wrong, so it was a good one (sure not the beeeessssttt one around) but works great...the tips are 3inch universals ones... But the reasons why its so deep and loud now is that i went from 2.5 to 3inch the whole thing and i dont have silencers on my cat-back but my midpipe is dual-resonated

The deepest sounding ones I have heard are Borla and RB's.

No, they claim that they have the SII version available now, part number 140393, although it's not found when I search on that part number at the Borla site. The Borla exhaust was high on my list because it's lighter than the OEM one, while the Racing Beat exhaust is 8 lbs. heavier (if I remember correctly the exact number). It's not much, but if I'm replacing a perfectly good OEM exhaust, I'd like to go lighter, not heavier.

Last couple Magnaflow systems I have owned fell apart and both supposedly had lifetime warranties. Both had welds fail from rusting. Both where never covered. I wont be using them on my 8.
