Series II aftermarket Exhaust SUMMARY
Well since the series I's have one may as well work on one for us.
Here are the exhausts that we found that will work on your series II's so far,
Racing Beat 09+
Fits like a glove
turbo-xs with race pipe
needs different hangers so that the pipes sit lower from the shrouds.
Re Amemiya Super Dolphin
Once I get more info on more exhausts that fit for our series II's ill keep updating this post.

What do you think about it? Do you know this company XS POWER ? Will it fit to my car or is it just for the series 1 rx8 ?
Thanks for any help

I installed a Racing Beat catback yesterday on a 2010 GT. Fit perfectly, looks good and sounds decent (very mild). Quality stuff. A little too quiet for my taste. I will post pics up later.

Can we also add "Cabin Noise" to this summary as well? I know most of these kits are backpipe bolt ons, but it would be nice to ensure that there is no effect to cabin noise. I used to have a 02 civic with a 2.25" catback (dont flame, as you can see im trying to move away from that and on to the big guns hahahha) and the cabin noise was cute at first, but then I wanted to kill someone after a few years lol

question... are any of these significantly lighter then the stock exhaust? I am interested in weight savings where possible cuz as far as I can tell nothing really adds much power outside of forced induction. Have any of you noticed a difference in hp or torque since installing em? I am not trying to start any arguments I am genuinely interested in your responses... as I would be tempted to replace the exhaust on my future rx-8 but only if the trade offs are worth the noise.

It's a friends car, I was with him doing a photo shoot last night but honestly it is very, very quiet. Hardly even noticeable if you didn't drive it stock. My car has a midpipe and stock exhaust and it was louder than his.
Honestly the stock exhaust seems pretty light but I could weigh it, it is in my garage. When installing the Racing beat I really did not notice a weight difference.

After doing some research and talking to a few people that have installed other exhausts on their SII I wanted to let the SII people know as I did a search and couldn't find much on the subject.
Talked with Agency Power and they have had a few people install their exhaust system on a SII. From what they have discussed with me is that modification was needed to the inside of the exhaust shroud so that the exhaust could fit properly by trimming the inside of the shroud.
Another option obviously mentioned in this thread would be taking it to a local exhaust shop and have them install a longer exhaust hanger in the rear so that the cat-back would sit a bit lower and clear the exhaust shrouds so modification to the shrouds would not be necessary.

The longer hangers, as Race Roots stated, would allow the tips to sit a bit lower and not make contact with the exhaust shrouds on the Series II rear bumper cover. An exhaust shop, or good performance shop that works with exhausts, should be able to do this for you.
I wonder if this would be more difficult with a titanium exhaust (the JIC-Magic one, in particular)? The hangers are welded on to the piping, typically. I wonder if a shop not experienced in titanium welding would be able to do this. I know nothing about welding so I have no clue.

Yeah, I test fit the exhaust off of a 2010 GT on my car and making the hangers longer would just make the whole exhaust system sit lower. I don't recommend that.
I would just have an exhaust shop lower the tips.

Doesn't matter for me, now. JIC Magic doesn't make the titanium exhaust, anymore (for any RX-8). I'm not sure I would have spent that kind of cash on it, anyway, but I'm still sad to see it go. I'd just go with Racing Beat now.
