SS for S2?

It looks like the genius behind the RP SS is wanting to take a look at the S2 for possibly a SS for S2 https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-aftermarket-performance-modifications-23/rp-short-shifter-installed-first-impressions-51489/page29/

My question is has anyone put the SS built for MX5 in their S2?

No one has. I've thought about it. I want to find an 06+ MX-5 to try it out first before purchasing a SS.

We are working on the SS for 09-11 Rx8's at this time. I have what should be the final design done in print form. Of course the shop has to machine one for prototyping and road testing. The S11 has a completly diff design and NO the Miata shifter may look the same but it does not fit.
Also there are some molded and stamped parts that we cannot make inhouse. Therefore it takes more time to prototype things.
Can't give a hard date for release but it will happen.

If you need someone to prototype test it... I'm available for extensive road testing. Of course, you'd need to ship it to me

I take it that "Axialflow 2004+ Mazda RX-8 Shift Kits" means "04-08" models :'(
