R3 ft ait dam on Sport Bumper?
I have searched repeatedly and even gone to a dealer to get this info with no lucke
Does anyone know if the left and right air dams that fit the R3 will fit on to a sport or standard bumper or is the bumper completely different. The parts diagram isn't very clear and says something about a bumper with and without the large lower spoiler, but it doesn't say if it is a different bumper.
TIA

No, I am talking about the lower spoilers that bolt up under the bumper, one on each side.
The parts guide I found called them "large air dams".
If bumpers are completely different, then it sounds like there wouldn't be the bolt holes in place for attachment.

From those pics, the bumpers look identical with the exception of the lower lips. When you put the optional lower lip on the first gen, you take off the stock lip and the new lip goes on in its place.
Maybe it's the same where the full lower lip comes off and the two others bolt in place.
However, the series II lower lips are not listed as accessories as the series I optional lower lip is. Nothing seems definitive-more research seems to be necessary.
Thanks for all your input and pics.

i have not tried this myself, however i am also currently looking into areo part options had got advice off some one who changed there luxury to the gt. over here the luxury is the model with out the splitters and our gt is your r3
he told me the splitters/ air dams DO NOT fit on the bumper. if you want those splitters you have to change the bumper to the r3. you can re use all your other parts like centre grill ( in front of radiator ) and side grills ( in front of oil coolers). also if you have head light washers they also trans fed over.
