+1000 on that! I learned that the hard way with a hood I got for my old 350Z. The biggest mistake I ever made was to buy a cheap hood. It cost me a arm and leg to get it to fit and it still never looked right.

thanks a lot guys, that's great to know...the idea im thinking is this one: mazdatrix rear bumper (already installed), mazdatrix side skirts, R3 front bumper with large spoiler or buying a carbon lip from japan (need help to decide that one) and a carbon hood, already have my rims painted in hyper black and my car is white ... thanks for any opinion and help about this

Carbon fiber hood and spoiler
I am very pleased with my Seibon hood and spoiler. The fitment is great. The hood was able to use original hardware and needs no hood pins. It closes very solidly and looks great. Just don't purchase through Illstreet customs out of South Carolina-lousy customer service.

Voids warranties
You may be able to pull it off if the rest of the car complimented it. You need to get moar low and a sharp wheel tire combination at the very least to start.
And for Gods sake lose the pin stripe!

Yeah, I hate the pinstripe. The bad part is, when I bought it, they charged me $175 extra for it. I told them to go ahead and remove it. I would appreciate any advice on removing the pinstripe. I also would like to go to black wheels, but I'll probably wait until I need the tires replaced. As far as the spoiler, I like it and that's the only thing that counts. After getting these replies, I did some searching and found a couple of cars with the same spoiler. They both got love it or hate it comments. I also noticed that the consensus on this forum seems to be that spoilers are pretty much bad in general with a lot of people saying either it's not really functional or it makes it look like a teenager's riced-up Honda. My opinion is that the back end is rather plain and abbreviated needing something to balance it out. I also got mine right after seeing the 2011 Rolex 24 at Daytona and really loved the class winning Rx8. Besides, now I know I can touch up the wrinkles in my shirt when I get to work. How much starch do you want in your collar.

I looked at your pictures and see that you are a small spoiler guy. What I do like, though, is those sort of half side skirts. I guess that was your old car. Would you please give me some information on those? I'm addressing LifeAfterRx8.

^^^^ bro dont tease the guys decision making,
my opinion would be like, i wouldn't put that wing on my 8,
not something i would spend time on anyway. n if i saw your car in person
i would glance at it, and then move on with my life.
your money, your car, your decision, if it makes you happy then a + 4-u

The best CF wing I have seen fitted to an RX8 is in my opinion the Carbon Fibre Universal GT 57" ones you get off of eBay.
Cheaper than the premium brands but looks the bol*ocks.
Your one looks a bit sh*t because the design is just a straight line and it doesn't suit the curvature of the bumper...
