at one point I thought 491 hp was being claimed, but maybe I was confused with another here today, gone tomorrow owner. Off to the next 15 minutes of fame I suppose, but I might be no better if my pockets were that deep, lol.
not sure why it dropped the front corner metal fins, other than they look dumb. Keep hoping someone will make a decent body kit rather than the usual dumb bunny adolescent crap.

Yes , in one of the boy racer mags they did claim something like that .
491hp which they got by taking the 422whp and adding whatever they thought drive train losses might be.
Then i think on the cover page they called it a 500hp Renesis ....... shows how much BS there is flying around in those mags.
After seeing that I managed to get Jonny all hot under the collar by applying the 10% fudge factor to the dynojet result and coming up with 380whp. LOL

Interesting that 3 years and 2 SEMA's is "here today, gone tomorrow" with over 14 SEMA builds and 2 Tokyo Auto Salon projects.
Salty old dudes that don't have functional businesses or abilities to consistently make their dream projects actually happen.
Elliot still wants to go for 500whp.. up to the new owner or if we choose to. Our championship FD car is 1200whp 4 rotor twin turbo, makes sense to begin my own 4 rotor project.
*Hope to catch you at SummerBash this year brett.

Compared to long term RX7 and RX8 owners that is here today-gone tomorrow, but you already know that. And you own what, at least maybe three restored FD3s? I’m not knocking your financial success in life either. More power to you. Everybody equally rich is no better than equally poor; it’s only the differential that allows achieving one over the other.

If my theory is correct ...........it could be very useful to his future attempts to make big power on a Renesis.

I wish I could afford to trailer my cars to shows or own a trailer. The last time these cars saw a trailer was to/from SEMA...
...while simultaneously preparing my FD for the tail end of time attack season (and testing Turblown's new manifold)... shipping parts for Formula Drift Japan Round 1 this year.... and 2 2018 sema builds.
...whilst working 70+ a week.
...13 magazine covers, 7 SpeedHunters Articles, 1 car in the Petersen for 4 years, 1 car at Tokyo Auto Salon, 1 car at Tsukuba Circuit, 8 SEMA Builds and 10 years daily driving my FD. Aside from the entire Formula Drift Japan season with this past year.

Haha, hey now! If we're talking about me, almost
But on a serious note, I made a substantial dontation before I started my personal build which helped partially fund a new sports / soccer field for the SFUSD. I figured it was the least I could do when indulging my own selfish interests. And yes, the truck and potential 'new' (to me) trailer are complete excess imo but I do make a conscious effort to offset the negatives which accompany this hobby.
