Radar detector location

any thoughts on where to mount a hard-wired radar detector in a series II R3?

I agree on using the Blendmount. I mounted mine like THIS and wouldn't even consider doing it any other way.

Mounting it high in the window, allows it to get a cleaner view ahead. There will be less clutter, from vehicles in front to limit the signals. However, mounting it low is suppose to give you a little signal boost from reflected signal bouncing off the hood.

Anyone notice the increase of false laser warnings? I believe people are leaving their blinders turned on all the time.
