FL Duracell AGM Battery - Group Size 35/85?

The second number shouldn't cause a fit problem right? I just noticed the battery I have on order with "Batteries Plus Bulbs" is a BCI Group Size 35/85. The other batteries were just listed as BCI Group Size 35.

They had an X2Power battery in stock, but that AGM battery was a solid $80 more than the $170 I paid for the Duracell AGM. I didn't think it was worth it for basically one more year of warranty coverage.

These are the specs on the Duracell AGM:
  • Item Number: SLI35/85AGM
  • Brand: Duracell Ultra
  • Voltage: 12
  • Format: BCI Group 35/85
  • Lead Acid Type: Dual Purpose (Starting/Cycling)
  • Cold Cranking Amps: 680
  • Battery Type: Premium
  • Capacity 20hr: 50AH
  • Chemistry: Lead Acid
  • Cranking Amps: 800
  • Lead Acid Design: AGM
  • Made in the USA: True
  • Maintenance Free: Yes
  • Product Category: Auto/Light Truck
  • Product Sub Category: Starting Lighting And Ignition
  • Terminal Type: SAE, Automotive Post
  • Warranty: 48 Month Full Replace, 0 Month Pro Rated
  • Weight: 39.4 lbs

Price: $182.99 - 10% (order online and pickup in store code..) The X2Power that they did have in stock was $265!

Yeah, I ordered that battery and the *very* next day my battery died. Talk about some crazy timing. So now I'm playing a waiting game for Amazon to deliver my battery charger/maintainer/checker. The local stores don't have what I'm looking for. I basically ordered a battery charger so I can charge the one I have, to get to the store, to put a new battery in my car. LOL (Oh well, I honestly need to have a charger/maintainer/checker on hand anyway)

Well, scratch that. They can't get the Duracell battery in for over a week and my current battery is shot.

They ironically have the X2Power brand in stock. It's an extra $100 but I need a battery and want an AGM, so that's what I'm having dropped in tomorrow. It's a standard BCI group number, 35. So I shouldn't have to worry about fit. It doesn't have some odd second number.

It's supposedly a re-branded Northstar. It's a pure lead AGM vs a standard AGM. Guess we will see how that pans out. I'll buy them forever if they last as long as the guy said they would (10-15 years.. LOL).
