What needs to get replaced with this series 2? I know fenders, hood, and bumper, but what structural or frame parts need to get replaced. It's a salvage car, it doesn't look like a lot to me, it says the car starts and can be driven. I am interested in it since I want to do an engine swap any ways.

 

There's no way anybody can tell you what condition this car is in from looking at pics. Needs to be put on a frame rack and checked.
But if it's a total,, must be something hiding somewhere that's expensive to fix.

Right now it is going for $0. I am not sure how this whole thing would work but seems it is kind of like ebay, being its an auction. But I am not entirely sure all the logistics of it. I do know there is a $340 fee added to what ever price you get the car for.

Right now it looks like I wont be able to sell my current car and then get this before it might be gone. And, I don't have the resources to buy this in addition to what I currently have. Seems like a steal, but I dont have a couple grand to put toward it though is cheaper than buying a freshly used RX8 to swap in a V8.

Pass on it. There are 04 for under $10 grand, some with high miles around 5-8 starting to show up. Unless you have deep pockets and want to do shadetree body work forget it.
