TX S2 A/C Amp Replacement Question

Ok, so the Texas Summer is approaching once more. I'm tired of having my A/C set to max and feeling the cold air come through the vents and still sweating. The air does the usual cool-cold-cool-cold thing like the A/C amp is bad. I did the recalibration (Hold front defrost+cycle select for 3 seconds, turning the key from "Off" to "Acc" to "On".) several times and never had any flashing lights or any results. What's strange is that when I press the cycle button I can hear something doing something behind the dash for a few seconds, but my A/C always does the same cold-cool-cold-cool thing. I want to try and replace the amp and see if that fixes anything. I removed my beige amp with the number "177600-8331" on it from my 2011 GT with the auto A/C to inspect it. It looks alright, no water damage or burnt electronics. I've found some other amps with similar part numbers from S2 RX-8s ending in "-8341" and "-8351", and I remember noticing that all the "-8351" amps are for non-auto A/C systems. Does anyone know if these fit my car with the Auto A/C function or no?

I assume you checked the 0-16 control to see if the temp. board is working?

I've assumed the board is working. I have the Auto AC feature on my car, and the dial directly adjusts the target temp on the screen. I've wondered if it could also be the Freon levels or something, but given the A/C compressor clicks on and off makes me wonder why it does that. Something controlling it is telling it to go off and on. Maybe a relay or the controller or something similar. It would be something to note that when I use the heater, the heater is full on when I engage it until the cabin actually reaches the target temperature. So when it's cold inside, the heater blows full hot until the inside warms up to my desired temperature before it modulates itself to keep warm. That seems to work fine. It's the A/C cooling that does the intermittent thing, and it doesn't quite cool me off when it's hot outside.
