I bought some 20" alloy tech scythe rims.
My car is currently up for the winter considering i live in the crappy weather of new york.o i can't currently just go see if the rims and tires will work. I had posted a few weeks back about some rims that i was thinking about buying. And i rescently purchased them couldn't pass the deal up just hoping they will fit i know the pattern will fit they are a 5 lug universal and the link i provided shows they will fit a mazda rx8. The problem is it says with tires 245-30-20. The tires i have on the rims are 235-35-20 i would assume if the 245-30 fit the 235-35 would also correct? Please help me out i'm lost when it comes to this stuff here is the site.

So what did you get those for free? Because thats the only way I would want those and even then I would never put them on my car. Rather sell them for scrap..
Anyway yea they should fit still.

Wow are you being serious? I don't understand how you could say they should only be used for scrap lol. Theyre not the best rims in the world but very nice imo. But ok thanks anyway here they r on a 300 i think they will look nice on a rx8.

i had 20's before watch as soon as u put them on it will slow the car down, and u will have to plan lane changes on the freeway instead of just changin lanes and passing with no effort, every one has there own opinion of what looks good. just being honest yes you will stand out. just not my taste.

Haha wow you guys are ruthless man. I'm far from gangster and i don't live in nyc upstate near syracuse. I think they are nice thats all honestly i'm fine with you guys hate them just surprised. Not like i'm stuck with them anyway once i put them on if i don't like them i'll just sell them. I just purchased a borla exhaust aem cold air intake also bought a pioneer avhp4300 dvd deck with the double din kit. Just cant wait for spring. Honestly i know probably not the best rims for the rx but i got a really good deal the tires are like new couldnt pass it up and ill never lose on them can always get my money back when i get it out i'll send some pics haha even though i'm sure you don't wanna see it

we're not ruthless, it's just that seriously ruining a car's performance by adding ugly and stone heavy wheels isn't smart for the average enthusiast.
18" is already too much, performance wise!
If you're not interested in losing acceleration, handling and seeing greater braking distances then go for it!

actually those are pretty awful in more ways than just the size, I personally don't care if people put dubs on their 8, there was a gulf member who had 20 inch TSW's on his show car and his ride looked amazing. But here's the problem I see with those, they don't match the car at all, honestly, there's no flow when I picture those on an 8, just wheels screaming out at you when you look at it. They had package deals on your link for 1552 with BFGoodrich KDW's, I have KDW's on my car so I know what those run, over half of that 1552 is probably to cover the tires, that means those 20" wheels are going for less than a 17" per wheel, which tells me either the place that's selling them got them free, or they can't get rid of them, or they're so cheaply made they bought them for next to nothing and can offer them for that price etc.
There is no such thing as a magic unicorn deal when it comes to parts, if something is really cheap or "deal you can't pass up", it's usually too good to be true. Just because something is a really good deal, doesn't always mean you should jump on it, especially when it's a brand name nobody has ever heard of.
In the end it is your car and your choice what to do with it, my advice would be to be more careful in what you buy, and good luck with how it all turns out. I predict your next purchase will be brakes and/or brake pads, those things look awfully heavy so unless you granny drive everywhere, your brakes are going to get a good workout with those.
