If you enjoyed SevenStock 9....
Make sure you send thanks to the folks that made it possible. The SoCAl 7 club , all the guys who work for months to put it together and Mazda for bringing the cars out and making the space available and lots of lots of their money.
YOu cna do it individually by just emailing Mazda USA and berny etc or if you want put your message here and i will make sure to forward them on.
Thanks to Robert Davis and everyone else at Mazda and Berny Herrara and everyone of the SoCal 7 guys who volunteered and did their best to make this "BBQ" this year THE BEST 7stock ever.
Thanks,
Charlie Dulin
Also Thanks to Racing Beat for opening their doors and nooks and crannys to us again this year. Its great fun poking around and seeing what can be found. There's alot of history to be found ther with a little diggin- like original Mazda 13g housings That new 18 yr old kid(name forgotten for the moment) was really nervous with us around

Bern, SoCal Club.....THANK YOU!!
Another successful SevenStock event and it could not have happened without all your hard work and planning!
Even though Bern made me start giving back the T-shirts they were throwing out into the crowd (it pays to be 6'6), it was still a memorable and fun weekend.
So when do we start planning for SS10??
-Jedi54
P.S. anyone get any cool pics of my 50+ car caravan pulling in? Bern....you would have loved it.

Oh, so THAT was you, Jedi! Now I know who you are! I was sitting on the grass behind the stage with Charlie, Lufty, RG, Ajax, and Brillo.
Bern, you and all the others who made this happen did an AWESOME job! Better location than R&D (thank you, Mazda!), and so professionally put together. I know several first-timers told me how amazed they were at how well-organized everything was. You all deserve a very huge THANK YOU!!!!

With the exception of the "last in line" people pulling into places that the "first in line" folks had been waiting for since before 7 AM, it was a fantastic event! Excellent turn-out and fine weather, not to mention the delicious cars everywhere! I loved it and will definitely be back for "SSX" next year.

Thanks!
I had fun although I wasn't there for too long. I had to get to the Rose Bowl for the UCLA game.
It was pretty amusing though, I pulled up at 9:30am (had to get breakfast first) and they turned me away so I parked in the lot across the street.
I ran into Brillo, Ajax, RG, Zoom44. Sorry I didn't see you around Phee

Just making my rounds to all the SS related threads. Glad to see this one! I'll make sure the SS Crew + Volunteers see all the positive feedback from you guys!
There wasn't much of the line cutting, I was in the street pointing cutters to the end of the line all morning!

Thanks to the Volunteers
Thanks for helping out with the parking and setup! Without your support SS9 wouldn't have looked so smooth to those that showed up! The greatest compliment I heard was at the banquet were some out of staters said that was the most efficient and smooth event they've been to! Nice.
Bob Dellacamera

I wish there was something we could've done to repay you guys for your help ( some for multiple years) The SoCalRX Club BoD thanks you all!

Thank you all! Especially all the volunteers.
Thanks again, Mazda North American for granting us the priviledge to be hosted at your place, especially headquarters (Robert Davis, Kelvin Hiraishi etc).
The show was wonderful once again. I look forward to next year, supposedly it will be more special for more than one reason.
Thank you Bernie, you know your a rock star in your own right.
What a pleasure meeting all the people I got to meet. See you guys next year.
Paul.

credit where credit is due...
credit where credit is due...
Thanks to all for the great words... this is why we keep doing this event! But for this year, I take very little credit as there were 3 key players that really put in the work this year... please recognize these folks!
-Latross Carroll (LC): SS-9 team leader
-Andy Lee: Banquet, T-Shirt Coordinator, raffle assistant
-Mike Scott: RR show, art, signage, sound, vendor, facilities coordinator
These are the guys who really put down the hard-work this year...
but there were also a few more as-important players for SS9:
-Jeremy Romero (JRo): all around event, raffle and stage coordinator
-Ritchie C. & Sandy: T-**** Booth Coordinator
-Gary Salva: Volunteer, Music coordinator
-Mel P.: Friday night coordinator
-James Bailey: Day-of vendor operations guy!
-Jeff Garcia: all around event support, equipment, and transpo guy
-Micah Robles: SS-8 & SS-9 main event artist
-Me: all around loud mouth, and day-off coordination... this year the boys pulled the load.
Along with the duties listed, all helped set-up on Friday night, and coordinate all aspects of the day-off activities: traffic, parking, set-up, Mazda race car presentation, clean-up, etc... no task to big or small for anyone.
If it wasn't for all these people, and in some cases their significant others, this event wouldn't be possible...
This is the team to have if you need to do an event... we've been doing it for years now, and although we get testy and stressed during the coordination each year, the pay-off is always great!
Also a huge shout-out to the SS9 volunteers!
The reality is that if you, the vendors and particpants, didn't keep participating with us, the event would not enjoy the success it has! I'm still blown away that anyone would drive a few hours to our event, and even much less days, or fly-in from all corners of the earth; SIMPLY AMAZING!! You guys are the best!
-Bern
btw, I saw the caravan pull in... nice. Also checked the vids with the guys giving excellent instruction to all drivers to be safe, clean-up, etc... you guys Thanks!

Thanks to everyone! MAZDA, Everyone at Rotary News, Racing Beat, Mazsport, Polk, Mazdatrix, Richard Paul, Socal RX Club and anyone else i might have missed. The even t was great, very well orgnized and great raffles. I cant wait till next year.
One suggestion, let people win parts for cars that they have instead of them trying to sell them at a later date.

It was a great show and it's the love for the Rotary that keeps us at it every year! Organization was quite exceptional if I had to say so myself.
-Andy
and keep bugging guys like Robert Davis to bring us ANOTHER RX vehicle!!
