A wager for RIWWP; now that you have your BHR Midpipe installed you will have no need for the MP3 and audiobooks, at least for the drive out. Trip back home, probably.

I'll still be passing through Portland sometime late Tuesday (9/21), stopping for the night a couple hours east of Portland max, possibly between Mt St Helens and Portland. Depends on timing of the drive earlier that day.

The title is a bit wrong now....
Recalculated, made individual daily files for each day for start, stops, and ends.
Put it into an excel file with all the data. I'm looking at 8,212 miles at the moment. The detours to the 2 nightly stays and the detour to Colorado springs adds a bunch.
Interesting to see that it's projecting a 14.7 cents per mile average gas cost, my share should be around $536 total, or less if my new O2 sensor puts my mileage back to where it was.

Nope. I was going to, but ended up using the "discretionary" funding for my midpipe and the AP.
I could give a shot at webcam + aircard via GoogleTalk, but no idea if it can handle the load. I won't have a time lapse like I wanted, unless I find an application that can take a webcam video feed to make time lapse.
Actually just occurred to me as I typed that. Gonna go look and see if I find something. If you know of something like that, let me know. That would be an easy alternative. Just clip the webcam to something and let it snap away.

Yeah, if I didn't drop the money on an AP or the midpipe, I would have on ignition. Not on either of the 2, and it would have been ignition and GoPro.
Found a few apps I am reading about that might work...

Yeah, just found 2 options that should work. One is $10, the other is free. Might get them both and test them out. Not much time for testing. Wish I had thought of this earlier.

RIWWP; What kind of webcam? I know my Logitech webcam has software that lets me 'record'.
make sure you have a power adapter for your car to keep the laptop / webcam going.

Logitech. Yeah, this is a moment for me, and not much time to figure out the right solution.
I do have a power inverter that I will already be bringing for the laptop's power when needed, but I will likely have to leave it plugged in all the time.
Unless there is a quick solution to hardwiring it that I could get accomplished overnight without much fuss. I have hardwire cables, but haven't even started looking at that.
