Sounds better than RI.
We finally reached our goal though. We are #1 in the country for worst road conditions.
You ever seen a "modern" steel and concrete bridge held up with wooden logs?
Go here:

And take a good look around.
Over half of the bridges in the state are like that.
Warm and fuzzy feelings? Yeah. Me too.
On the upside, they painted 2.5 miles of a jersey wall white the other day!
And and and they ground away the dotted white lines for about 20 miles of 295 one night, and then 6 weeks later repainted them right over the same spots, right in the middle of the grind marks.

Just hit Tulsa.
Half a tank still, Maxx has been going for about 6 hours now. Seems to be ~6 hour shifts
But I doubt we will keep it up beyond this. I have several hours, 3, maybe 4, in me, but not 6. Gonna push on as far as we safely can, not going to be stupid though.

RIWWP: more sleep, less posting.
drive safely guys, make sure you get rest when you can so you're alert on the road.
Glad to hear you guys are making good time and sharing stuff along the way.

I got a couple hours of sleep before I started this posting string. Not very restful of course, but enough that I can't get back to sleep any time soon. Not exhausted, which is good. We will get some better sleep a bit later.

RIWWP: Those guys aren't messin' around.
Here in CA, you'd see 4 lanes closed, 87 trucks, 1,950 orange cones, 1 truck doing work, and 112 workers sitting down on the side of the road 'inspecting' or "on lunch" and then 7 months later the project would be suspended for lack of public funds with only 10% of it being finished.
