600 miles to go.

Not much to say about NM so far. Slightly more feature-able than OK was.

Seeing recommended reduced speed signs for curves of 65mph is a bit humorous

That's awesome. Stupid Ohio and 65mph max. I need to move.

Glad the trips going well. You guys are making great time.

Well, in New Mexico you take pictures of the hills and billboards because there isn't anything else. What does that say about OK when you don't take any pictures? We're 196 miles shy of Arizone - basically mid NM.

What was your goal for arrival at BHR hq?
What's your estimate based on current speed / heading?
Rest up when you get there, you've got a long weekend coming up and I don't want to see you guys asleep in your chairs at Sevenstock like so many others do.

About 4:30 mountain time projected arrival. No idea what time zone AZ is in.

Seen 1 state trooper in NM. He was asleep with radar running in a 75mph zone. Exciting job that.

Might see another. Probably not.

We've been in 75 mph zones for a large chunk of the last thousand miles. Today is a pretty easy day. We front loaded yesterday and *only* had to do 900 today. We're going to cut through the national forests instead of going through flagstaff. It saves 80 miles and should be a more interesting drive.

In other news, we gave 2 bucks to some guy claiming to be out of gas. We don't think he was, but we're in a good mood.

Double that number and that is what the RX-8 can safely handle.
