Sevenstock 14 - How about Oct 29th?
I know its Halloween weekend but what do you guys and gals think about Oct 29th? Does that make you more or less likely to attend?
I imagine there might be more than a few naughty school girls and slutty nurses around that weekend
and more than a few zombies
hmmm zombie 7stock?
vampire/monster 8s with teeth in the grille?
just asking for input mind you this isnt set in stone but is a high contender

I read a while back that they were looking at the 3rd week of Oct, now the 4th?
For me I see no scheduling conflict....and take my car off the road for winter in Nov. Only concern I have is sure it may be fun on Halloween weekend and yet also may be more prone to people messing with your car as well around that time
Wonder what the weather is like over there that time of year, will be much cooler over here in the East.

I think it's a good date despite being halloween weekend simply because most of the halloween festivities will happen at night and most of the participants are gone from SS by 4 or 5:00. That should leave them plenty of time to get the kids home and get ready for any halloween parties.
I also like the idea of people (of the female persuasion) dressing up for SS.
what do the rest of you guys think?
As for people messing with our cars: SevenStock has always had security on site and this year will be no different, I would imagine the cars will be just fine.
As for the out of town folks: I can see this being a bit of a conflict but what about doing something new? What if there were Halloween festivities out here that you could participate in??

Eh ... what about the out of towners or the folks with young ones or the out of towners with young ones lol. We decorate the inside and outside of the house as I am sure others do as well, to not be around that weekend I don't think would set well ... and like Vlaze said more prone to eggs and other stupid crap with our cars just my .02
It could be the week before and still throw a holloween twist at it

Not worried about it at SS...if someone egged a rotary member's car at SS pretty sure the mob would not take lightly to that, besides that's middle of the day. I was referring to those who aren't local and driving out leaving cars out in the hotel lot, etc.
It's not really Halloween until Sunday officially anyhow so technically should be fine.

i can understand wanting to tie ss in with Halloween, i think it would add a different flare to
something that has grown to be the same every year. its not a bad thing but something like
Halloween to shake things up a bit would be good for freshness.
but i also understand those with kids from out of town wanting to be there with them scaring old
people out of there cash. ah i mean candy.
the question is how many people from out of town will truly have kids to worry about during this time of year. the other option could be that jedi turns his car into a make believe spaceship for the
day and let the little kiddies pretend to be in star wars.

It's more of a show for vendors to congregate than introduce product to the public. Vendors that have booths are basically doing so for bragging rights, and to show they are big enough a company to afford it.
I too may be at SEMA, but that won't stop me from SevenStock! Bascially, what Atilla said
