Well,

All the car's painting projects have been completed. Front bumper repaired, fuel pump fixed, tune is optimal, nitrous tank is topped off and I'm all packed. Watch out sevenstock! BHR is headed your way in a few short hours!

 

why didn't i look this before, I wanna go so bad, let me see guys if i can find any tickets and a hotel for the weekend

that was my first seven stock. i dont really post on the forums i just read so i didnt really kno anyof u guys. but i had a silver rx8. i was asian. with my asian gf. lol. that probably describes... everyone there. haha. jk. but. i really want to meet up with the people around IE so we can get together and chill. i didnt kno car meets were that fun! :D n.mikeru@gmail.com if u have facebook. That was a decent show a bit to hot and sunny for my liking. It was awesome seeing the hydrogen 8 though. I want that thing with the new 16x engine.

 

seriously! i think all of the 8 guys we're seriously pooped from the night before! buy my god! there was so much going on i didnt know what to do at first! defintely fun!
the heat made it a little uncomfortable, didn't look at many of the other rotaries because i didnt feel like walking around in the heat.

 

I missed all the speeches. Were there any good announcements made?

Last time I went Mazda brought the Kabura, which was awesome. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't anything special there this time. Can we say Furai? How was that not present? (if it was and I missed it I am going to be pissed!)

 

i was a little disapointed that the furai wasn't there...i dont understand how it cannot be...or atleast the 787b...

anyways, during the opening anouncment the PR guy for mazda made an unofficial statement about mazda working on the new rx-7
but that was about it..

 

Maybe Mazda didn't want to hear everyone telling them to build it all day long

 

lol that's a valid point, but c'mon! thats the future of rotary!

 

nooooooooooo the future of rotary is that hydrogen ****. Mazda needs to get on board with the green movement.

I was listening for a bit until the heat got to me - the speech did include a statement that rotaries are easily run on hydrogen with "just a few" modifications so it seems that Mazda is in fact in the loop on this...anybody else hear the same thing?

 

I was a bit disappointed the Furai wasn't there. But other than that it was pretty good.

Highlight was definately the 4-rotor RX-8 getting fired up. That thing SCREAMS!
