PA 1993 Rx7 R1 BB

Year: 1993
Make: Mazda
Model: RX-7
Price: $11000
Mileage: 132000
Color: Black
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (US State/Canada/Int): PA

Fresh rebuild using new apex, side corner seals and springs. Side seals clearance at .006. Compression before installing in the car was 105-115 on all faces. Rotors and rotors housings are in great so I reused them. No cracks around the spark plug holes or seal drag wear on the ends of the housings.
Stock port
Atkins seals, stock springs.
Bypass e-shaft pellet.
Fuel pulsation dampener eliminated.
All new internal o-rings.
Air pump, air control valve, EGR, double throttle and AWS system removed and blocked off. All solenoids are in place to keep check engine light off. Resistor added in place of AWS solenoid.
Poly motor mounts.
Turbo mileage? Set I used had minimal shaft play and no evidence of oil seepage from the seals.
Properly converted to non-sequential with ported wastegate.
AC blows cold. Converted to R134A.
R1 Dual oil coolers
New spark plugs and coil wires. Coil packs have been relocated to the area where the cruise control actuator resides on non R1 cars.
All new oil, anti-freeze, trans, power steering, diff and brake fluid. Brake system was completely flushed.
AST elimination.
Transmission has 59k miles and no grinds. Shifts smoothly.
Stock clutch and flywheel.
Pettit Intercooler and Pettit intake.
Silicone vac lines and turbo couplers.
New fuel filter.
Walbro drop-in fuel pump.
Stainless downpipe and mid-pipe.
Knockoff Apexi cat-back, (Very loud!)
Apexi PFC w commander
Datalogit

Suspension and brakes:
Eibach Prokit springs.
KYB front and rear shocks.
Racing Beat front and rear sway bars
NO clunks or looseness in the rear. Suspension is tight and the car handles very well.
Cross-drilled brake rotors.
Tires have 6/32 on the rear and 5/32 on the front. Stock wheels.
Car drives straight. Steering wheel is straight.

Interior:
Complete black interior that I would rate a 7 to 7.5 out of 10.
Seats are in good shape, no rips or tears. Just normal wear.
All of the interior panels are in place including the hatch cover, hatch divider, rear carpet and the DIN pocket.
Defroster vents are cracked.
Aluminum door sills.
Pillar-mounted Autometer boost gauge.
Gauge hood and gauge cluster cover have been painted gloss black. AC panel and shifter panel are in greats shape.
Sony Headunit

Body:
Paint is not the nicest. I would rate it a 5 or so out of 10. Faded in spots. Hood and roof and not faded.
Passenger side is in the best shape.
Driver’s side shows evidence of body work on the rear quarter and the front fender area.
Evidence of repair work on the front driver’s side around the headlight area.
Overall dings are minimal and there are no dents.
Front bumper cover was cut to fit a front-mount intercooler at one time in its life.

Misc:
Airbag and ABS system function properly.
Antenna does not go up and down. Not sure if it is functional or not.
Everything else on the car functions properly.

Has clean PA title, 11,000 obo, email me for more pics and to come see the car

Beautiful car. I'm interested, but I'm waiting for news from insurance.

Thanks. As far as a trade. It would depend. I had an 8 before, and would rather just have cash right now. I am looking at going a different direction completely. But I would always contemplate a nice 8, just have to be nice considering I would be giving up a rocket...
