Thinking about selling my car and getting into something else that would work better for a family vehicle/fun daily driver. The car runs great. Plugs were changed at 50,000 miles and I did a coolant flush summer 2010. I have 2 sets of wheels, both OEM RX8 wheels painted black. One set has winter tires on, the other set has new Hankook Ventus summer performance tires in 245/40/18 size. They were put on the car in October and driven for just about a month before I had to put the snows on.

The only mod done to the car is a set of H&R Sport Springs which lowered it just over an inch. Unfortunately I never took pictures of it after I lowered it, but the stance is perfect in my opinion. It was lowered just this past summer as well.

There is some cosmetic damage on the front bumper (chips and scratches from rocks) and the front lip has definitely taken a beating over the life of the car. Someone gave me a nicely sized ding (no more then an inch) on the rear driver's side quarter panel. If someone wanted pictures, I could definitely take a few to show the damage.

Overall, the car has been great and I've thoroughly enjoyed it during the time I've owned it. I'm just getting the itch to move on and get something that would work better as a utilitarian/family vehicle when the wife and I start having kids.

Hows she doing in this snow with the lower stance? hows the trans? any grinds ext?

 

The only problem in the snow is when it's too deep for the car to get through. Otherwise, with proper snow tires, it's actually quite good in the snow.

Trans is great. No grinding at all.

The car currently has a buyer lined up.
