For sale is a one owner, 2004 Mazda RX-8. This car has been my daily driver since I purchased it new in Jan 2004 and has served me well, but I need to get something bigger and more practical. The car is a 6 speed manual sport package, which gives it the 18" wheels and the upgraded suspension. Performance enhancements include an AFE short throw shifter, Racing Beat REVi intake and ram air duct (which increases power and mpg,) SR Motorsports high flow cat, braided steel brake lines, newer slotted rotors with Hawk HPS+ pads and BHR spark plug wires. It also has an Optima Red Top battery and the upgraded Mazda starter for cold weather markets. The car comes with extra parts, such as a set of Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires mounted on a second set of stock 18" wheels, a new set of Hawk Performance Ceramic pads (front and rear,) Racing Beat AC and oil cooler screens and a set of belts- these extras would cost you upwards of $2K alone by themselves. There have been a few minor appearance mods as well, such as JDM clear corner markers, JDM stainless steel side strakes, LED cabin lighting and upgraded signal markers and driving lights. The engine has 129,xxx miles on it, all driven by me and mostly highway. The car has been meticulously taken care of, mostly by myself, and a complete record of any and all work that has ever been done is available. The original clutch has plenty of life left (approx 40%) which shows that the car has been well taken care of and never abused. The pictures are a few years old as I haven't gotten the chance to take new ones in this weather, but there is no noticeable difference in appearance. There are a few rock chips as you would expect from a daily driver, but nothing large, no rust spots or glass cracks.
