So then I guess everyone is simply ignoring the lowest priced driving rx8 on the forum without mechanical issues.
I have since installed a good stock cat, so there is no more CEL for that.
I also installed a good stock 6 disc CD player, and I did the heat/air control solder repair while I'm in there as a preventative measure.
I installed a stock undertray/belly pan.
I also have a stock silver hood installed to replace the dinged up original.
I also picked up a low mile set of motor mounts at a good deal and swapped them in.
I installed a rear rotor accent.
That should take care of most everything except the front bumper cover.

Just put a new battery on the car. Also added a good used set of floor mats and had a new OEM key cut for it (not yet programmed at the dealer, though, so it won't start the engine).
What's the deal with no interest in this decent car?

I have learned never again to try and fix/flip an rx8 instead of parting it out.
I cannot fathom why all these other cars are listed for almost twice my asking price and get more interest. Are people really that afraid of changing a front bumper cover?

You can't get in too deep with these cars or you will never get out. I've already done too much to this one with the ground effects, battery, hood, undertray, floor mats, motor mounts, cd player, etc. by trying to make it "nice" and "right". Even at asking price I will be basically breaking even and not really making much of anything at this point.
