Ive been offered a set of nitto invo tyres, nearly new so worth taking when they dont cost anything..
they're 255/40R19.. with some 19x9.5 45p offset how would they fit?
With the +45 offset on 255/40 tires on stock suspension? I am guessing you might rub the front fender liner. The 40 aspect ratio on the 255 tires seems pretty thick.

I assume you'll drop the car? You'll have to do more than just rolling and pulling the fenders.

Its on Tien Adjustable suspension, will see how it goes! may have to alter the height and preload a little
Kind of a noob question but I am second guessing myself and could use some input. I'm about to order some MB Battles. I just bought new tires last summer so I'm just ordering rims to fit them. I'm ordering 18X8 5-114.30 +43 and just wanted to know if they'd fit my stock rx8.

The +43 to+45 range should be decent. Depending on the sidewall profile of the tire and the amount of camber and ride height....you should need minimal alterations to the wheel arches

I see, because I was using the calc from wheel-size.com. I measured the fender tab(not rolled) to the stock wheel/tires about 1" for the front, maybe even a little less.
the rear looks about .5" or a little less
using the +43 or +45, according to that calculator its flushed with the outter fender.

Just want to report back on my post question (#10931) that a few of you had replied.
Gun Metal RAYS Engineering 19s. Stock suspension.
So I went with 245/35/19 fronts (et30) and 255/35/19 rears (et33). Bridgestone S04.
Love the look. Enjoy the grip.
Fronts have no rub at all. Lock to lock whatever.
Rears exhibit some rub going on bumps and dips only when loaded with people at the back . No rub if I am driving solo.
The rub is on the rear plastic bit as I have rolled the rear fenders.
can someone link me to the best place to look for aftermarket rims that fit the tpms for our car. Dealt with the blinking tpms sensor light before and dont want to deal with it again. Looking for rims to replace my stocks since they have a lil curb rash. Will end up putting winter tires on my stock rims so will have rims that can take a lil damage if end up slipping on snow or ice during the winter months.
Diidnt see any ones in the fs section that were near me so will prolly just end up ordering online.
Also will getting wheels that are a lil wider better for handling? What to keep that stock 18 inch size but maybe a lil wider.

I just got new Volks for my Evo, and they came with valve stems but they don't work with the TPMS. I could have used aftermarket TPMS valve stems, but they didn't look as nice. So after talking with my tire shop and getting a lesson on how the TPMS function and are physically installed, the fix was easy. Each stem just needed a hole drilled out (larger, the hole exists) and tapped. This allows the hollow screw that holds the TPMS sensor to valve stem to be mounted as it would be to a normal stem. So, I used the Volk valve stem and an Alligator brand sensor and it all worked out perfect.
You really just need a drill and a specific tap (M5x.8 for the Alligator sensors) and you could do it yourself. Or, you could have a machine shop do it... took me like 30 minutes and I'm a noob.
I don't have any pictures, so hopefully the explanation makes sense.
I don't know about you, but my Volk GTS came with 2 valve stem holes, one on the front where you use the supplied 90 degree elbow stem and one on the back (faces into the car) where I mounted an OEM TPMS sensor. Worked out great, but I realize most wheels probably don't have that. I don't have a picture of the inside valve hole and the car is in winter storage, but this pic shows the labels on the boxes showing a red "2 valve hole" description.
