My budget was related to his number as it seemed reasonable for the circumstance but without knowing how much actual damage there actually was. Potentially I wanted the car for parts, kind of pisses me off that someone would come on here and post like that and then disappear without making any contact whatsoever? He's even posted a second thread since, makes no sense, unless he's just trolling or he spoke too soon but if that's the case he should say so instead of just ignoring people.
Anyway, likely if your car is running it'll probably be too high if not damaged in some way like his was, but throw up a number anyway and post some pics or a link to some, won't know until you do and maybe if not me someone else will give you a shout. I've just bought 2 others recently and have another one on the hook waiting for title before making an offer so getting kind of full for the moment. I refurbish and sell the ones that are salvageable and use the others for parts so it has to be real cheap. If it has over 60,000 miles on the engine I have to consider a refresh and internal inspection, I don't sell any with over 60,000 miles without a refresh and then sell accordingly, that's my business model, head off any potential internal damage before it gets to the point of no return and price accordingly, best way for everyone involved, I also take pics of the engine during tear down and rebuild for interested parties.

If you're still in the market, there's a 2007 6M Pettit Supercharged Phantom Blue for sale at the thread above.
