Just wanted to share some of the work me and the crew have been doing for the past year, trying to meet some deadlines. Hasn't been a year since the car got a complete makeover from OEM to a full Vertex Lang kit, and I'm hoping to match the looks soon with some decent power. Still in the process of sourcing several more parts and getting a few more things custom fabricated, but things are looking good for 2016.
Couple shots taken by my friend @daniels_ca on Instagram.
RX-8 flash mob at Ace'd Autoworx!
Polishing the piping, still needs additional work, but it will do.
Painted the intercooler black with Eastwood radiator paint.
Hairline crack on my Greddy manifold, hopefully the weld holds.
Someone managed to saw the bracket down to the actual actuator, luckily the diaphragm did not get damaged.
Wire tuck nightmare, big thanks to konigs and gregs and the rest of the crew for making this a breeze.
Shout out to Ace'd Autoworx for all the help with out fabrication needs!
Your car is definitely a quality build, it looks great. I like the custom canister trio you have there. Its funny I never noticed some of these things on your car til now. And I love the look of the RE Amemiya tails but I'm not sure how I will feel once I actually get them. I'd like to see them in person one day. Did you cut and add wire for your tuck? I pulled all my connectors out through the firewall. Wondering if you did it that way as well?

Keep up the good work.
Man, I'm late! Sorry Adam, I haven't been on here since then. I really appreciate the kind words, your build is awesome as well and I've always liked the attention to detail. I think the RE tail lights will look good on your car, I hated them on mine since the black cherry did not go very well with the carbon fiber; I don't think painting them black would have helped by any means which is why I decided to sell them. For the wires, we cut and extended them and ran it thru the hole next to the brake booster and tucked it under the fender.
