I was learning how to display text and control the LEDs. I got brave and compiled and loaded a sample program that was supposed to show CAN rx and rx message counts. I plugged it into the car and it died. Just glad it was the board that died and not the other way around. I felt like a little kid who just broke his favorite new toy The board maker is looking into it but these were one-offs for the show. I'll probably be better off using Arduino as my platform. But this thing served its purpose in getting me excited...
If only lol. I was all set to do some testing today and my car started acting up just highway cruising on the way to the office. Load was spiking up to 257% plus, airflow was all over. I pulled the MAF sensor plug when I got to the office and one of the pins had broken off!!! Put a new sensor in but now have to start back at 0psi to dial it in... ugh...

Just got back from a 325 mile road trip, a little over 1000 miles since rebuild. Vacuum is now pretty consistently -21in/Hg. Perhaps the sustained 4K RPM helped finish the break-in. Got the 7lb spring in and it hits 7psi pretty spot on. Still running too rich in boost, but I'll get it dialed in. Got to wash her now, lots of bugs all over the front, blech...
